Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Imagine having Italian food with a Korean garlic flavor boost that is not shy in having garlic being ten star of the show, the end result is amazingly tasty food.

Mad for Garlic has a really atmosphere. The wait staff was friendly and prompt. The pizza is a very thin cracker crust. Good flavor, but the crust is lacking in my opinion. The price is a little on the high side, but overall a good experience.

Came here and had the spicy Shrimp and Garlic zucchini risotto, and loved every bite! It came exactly as pictured on the menu which most places cannot seem to achieve. The server was very attentive to not just us, but everyone in her section. Making rounds as appropriate and almost always without being asked to come over. Would love to eat here again.

Stopped in while we were at the Lotte Tower mall complex. The food was ok but a bit pricey. The pizza was better than the pasta but over all the food didn't compare The Stinking Rose when it comes to garlic food.

This dish, the garlic snowing pizza, is one dish I constantly crave. I can be on the other side of the planet enjoying some other pizza, but really, i'm thinking about this pizza. It's delicious. It's got little flakes of garlic, like garlic chips, on it with shrimp and a sweet sauce. My god. Garlic Chips. I need them. .... In a way I guess this store is true to it's name because I am quite literally mad for these garlic chips. I wish they put them on more dishes. The spicy dishes are actually spice btw, so watch out.

Unexpected the restaurant was not crowded, and only few tables were occupied during lunch hour. However, I had been waiting for a while since no one stand by at reception. Nevertheless, my order was speedy served and the grilled chicken with risotto was delicious.

Been a couple of times to try their different pastas and pizzas. Every time the food has been great but I think the prices are all in my opinion over priced. There couple set menus are sometimes the better deal. Not that it becomes all that much cheaper. But my wife loves the food so I'm sure I'll be back.

Great food, great service. I am a big fan of their franchise in Singapore, so wanted to try the originator - no regrets.

It was overpriced for what we got. We ordered the pizza, which was good. Calamari risotto was a little on the dry side. My cousin order the crab and lobster pasta, which was overpriced, and barely had any crab, lobster or pasta! Overall, it was an ok experience. Could have been better..

Mad for Garlic is exactly what its name says...you need to love garlic in order to enjoy the food there...The food is good, a bit overpriced considering other restaurants in Seoul, and of course rich in flavor and especially rich in garlic. Pizza and pasta are tasty and portion size is good. Considering that there are many good Italian restaurants that also offer great food and are reasonably priced I am not sure if I would go back there...unless I need a garlic kick

The restaurant's modern design and interesting menu options lured us in. The pasta was overly strong and rich in flavor, drowning in a heavy cream sauce. The pizza's thin crust was soggy, being soaked in the topping reside, although it was tasty. Bread was not provided, thus ordered the cheese bread, fist sized at USD9, it was soaked in the cheese oils. The salad was the only dish that wasn't overwhelming in flavors and fatty oils. Service was cold and sparse. At USD20 per dish, higher service standards were expected and lacking.

The Gangnam branch of Mad For Garlic is situated in the mall beneath the Samsung D'light centre (turn left out of the lower level of D'light, and then left again at the end). The mood is relaxed with low level lighting and lots of wine displays (really like the garlic shaped lights), with quick and pleasant service. The only issue is that most dishes are liberally spiced with garlic as the restarant name suggests. I like garlic, but the quantities used far exceeded my expectation. The garlic bread tower for example was so garlic rich that it burnt the tongue ! There are a small number of non or low garlic dishes including nacho pizza, and cobb salad, but having experienced both they are quite average. OK for an experience, but not somewhere I would return to of my own choice.

Confusing menu and a quite dark environment for a restaurant, However i was surprise by the quality and the taste of the food. Price is above average so if you willing to pay extra, then i totally recommend the place. Also i think i should have done some research about the food before going there since the names and the descriptions doesn't make any sense so basically you don't know what you will get.

This place is ok, the food is regular but the quantity and the price are a joke. Garlic pizza is maybe the best part of the dinner, but I recommend you to ask for more garlic while you are ordering. Pasta is not good, actually is one of the worst pastas I have ever eaten in Korea. The sauce has no taste at all (Avoid the crab pasta, cause its not really crab and its not tasty). The steak taste is good cause it taste like garlic, but it wasnt well cooked at all! The quality was also low for a 40.000 Won steak... I visited here few times for our company dinners, but I dont really this place it.

Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
