It provides Korean local food. They are delicious, especially the noodles in clam soup. It is a good place to have hot food especially in Winter. But if you go there on weekend, you must well prepared to line up at the entrance for arrangement of seat. I have just finished my dinner there, I have ordered noodles in soup... More

The queue seemed long but it moved fast so we didn't have to wait for very long. The soup is very flavorful with great depth. Good stuff!

A good place to eat at after a visit to Bukchon Hanok Village or Gyeongbokgung Palace. The queue outside can be a bit long but clears pretty fast as the restaurant has two sections and they assign tables based on number of people in a group. The food come very fast too. The main draw of course is the sujebi... More

I love the atmosphere of this cafe, and the sujebi is really superb. Menu is very straightforward, you will just order the portion per head. Very much similar to Singapore's meehoonkway, the soup is much sweeter and the handmade dough pieces super chewy. One of their other specialty is the pancakes, very yummy. Their potato pancake is simple but very... More

If you are looking for a warm hot bowl of clear soup noodle (hand-pulled, not long noodle), do look out for Sujebi Samcheon-dong. Now, if you are visiting Bukchon Hanok Village and are at the viewpoint 8 (the boulder stairway), this restaurant is just opposite the viewpoint 8. To avoid the long Q, go before noon and before 6pm. Service... More

Famous and popular with locals. Recommended by a guesthouse manager. The Sujebi, which is hand-pulled noodle, is the specialty. It came in a seafood broth with clams. I also ordered a seafood pancake. Both came fast after ordering. There is no English menu but the waitress was able to speak some mandarin. I used the tried-and-true method: get up and... More

First time at this restaurant. Had to join the crowd in the queue. The soup base of the sujebi is tasty and delicious. Each serving is big enough for 2 to share. The pancake not bad too. Two types of kimchi are served with the order. Well worth the special trip to visit this restaurant. The neighbourhood is interesting for... More

I have known this restaurant since 1997. It was just a small local restaurant but presented me the beautiful taste of Sujebi. Until that day, I had not thought that Sujebi was such a tasty food. It becomes famous at this moment and I have to wait over 10 minutes even at 3:00 pm. However I always want to wait... More

Excellent kimchi and pancake! I have never been a big fan of pancakes, but this totally changed my view. The service here is also one of the best I have received in Seoul. The wait staff knew we couldn't speak Korean, so she (in her limited English) told us what to order and delivered everything with a big smile and... More

We chanced upon this restaurant after ending our Bukchon view no. 8 walk. We ended up opposite this restaurant and decide to give it a try. Sujebi is hand-torn noodles in broth and it's similar to the Chinese mee hoon kueh. The taste are different thought. Perhaps we had this sujebi in a drizzling afternoon... the food was delicious. Really... More
