Really loved it. So much food. Amusing to see the different foods & drinks. Really interesting & fascinating. Salads, main dishes, cookies, piping Korean cake out of the oven, fresh vanilla icecream. Food heaven.

This is one of the best food court I went to. So much choices and some quite original. Great place to pass by, knowing that there is also a street market in the evening close to this place. You could find some great cakes, next to suite good japanese, korean, chinese restaurants. Some are more fast food than high level... More

Food court has lots of good choices, if you can find a table where you can enjoy your order. Went there after the lunch hour, and place was still packed. Had to wait around 20 minutes before I could eat my soup which was no longer hot by then. It has become a major tourist destination hence the crowd. Would... More

I've been here a few times to grab something to eat or drink but every time I'm there...it's super crowded! Since it's close to a tourist area, there is a lot of foot traffic and it's hard to get around or get a table. There are endless choices of food and drinks but it gets quite overwhelming when you just... More

A good place to try out different types of dishes. Prices are acceptable, not the cheapest but it's a food court. There's Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and some Western choices. There are snack items, bread and other bakery choices, lots of cafes and pastries and desserts. Do try to come a bit before or after the actual meal hours as you... More

We found this food court by accident but it became our go-to in Seoul. Great fresh food, good portions and cheap too. Take your own alcohol and beverages in there though as there is nothing to buy. Hint: English menu is attached to the waist-height table opposite the order counter. Recommend you take a photo of what you want to... More

Staying in Myeongdong / Namdaemun

Neighbourhood Profile
Myeongdong / Namdaemun
Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighbourhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighbourhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighbourhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.
