It was indeed difficult to find, a small billboard on the first floor was all there was to show you it was here but once you had climbed the stairs and opened the door, you felt warmly welcomed. The menu was varied enough to choose...More

I give five stars for the cause. The waiters are indeed quite friendly and professional. The food is quite good but not as exceptional as other comments say.

A perfect place to enjoy food cooked and served by young students managed by a teacher. Eating here is for a great cause and the kids are really doing their best. Tip: Book a table because it can be quite busy.

If you're in Yangon for just one night, make this the place you go for dinner. Not only is it for a great cause but the food is delicious. We had four dishes between two people and left extremely satisfied. Try the eggplant salad and...More

Linkage is a social enterprise restaurant in Yangon that trains up disadvantaged local young people to work in the restaurant industry. We visited in December 2017, it's a little tricky to find as it is up a narrow staircase off the street. It had a...More

I suppose the main reason people go there is the "youth project" part, since neither the street nor the building it's in give it much allure. This said, the place was, in fact, OK, and the food was truly nice (we tried several dinner dishes,...More

Climb up the stairs well worth the dinner. Good selection of food and all meals were really tasty. Worth ordering some vegetable sides as a number of meals were just meat or fish only. Loved the fish curry - recommend. Loved the presentation of rice....More

To get there you have to climb small stairs and it's the first door on the left. The staff is really nice. I tried the chef special pork plum curry which was nice. It changes from the usual curry and is not too spicy. Chicken...More

We were a bit sceptical to go in, as on the outside the place is just a name board and a set of stairs in an otherwise ordinary building. But we did go in, and what a great choice it was! So if you hesitate...More

Linkage Restaurant is a social project as well as a link to Tha-Nge-Chin-Myar, a volunteer group founded in 2010. It is a pretty corner in crowded downtown of Yangon, Myanmar where you can enjoy a great collection of Myanmar Fine Art (paintings) and delicious food prepared and served by enthusiastic young adolescents with dignity!
