Like a walk down memory lane, loving restored colonial house with books and corners tucked away for afternoon tea with friends or family that feels secluded from others. Wonderful desserts but the scones is somewhat lacking as it is not served with cream and homemade...More

I've mainly gone for the tea/coffee and little treats, and they have always been excellent. Had breakfast there once, it was ok, but I've only continued to go there for tea/coffee. Service good, but if you go, don't confuse the little outlet shop on your...More

Bakery is good, but chocolate brownie is so so. Good service from staff. Coffee is also good if you don't like tea.

It's like going back in time to the colonial period (or maybe somebody's idea of that time), plenty of formal tables as well as comfortable sofas, a huge range of teas (although they had run out of Earl Grey when I visited - how is...More

A majority of the pastries are very good at Acacia, as well as the coffee and tea. Definitely a great place for afternoon tea. Ordering desserts and pastries are recommended rather than ordering the lunch and dinner selections because they are too pricey. I would...More

Anyone that has been to Myanmar will often find reasons to keep returning. The historical architectures, pristine landscapes and the rich heritage that are distinctly visible in the gentleness of its people make this country so fascinating. Acacia Tea Salon's menu offers great tasting food and exceptional atmosphere, including a restaurant that serves savory Euro & Western cuisine. Catering and hosting of special events are also available. Acacia Tea Salon is located on Saya San Road on a lush, green landscaped property comprising Main Salon which is designated into the sub venues of The Tea Room, The Veranda, The Moroccan themed room and the dining area. The other is The Glass House which is a patisserie and mainly serves take-away baked goods and coffee. Themed rooms, such as the Moroccan Room are tailored with bright and dazzling red and orange sofas, carpets and oversized pillows were created by highly recognized boutique-conceptual architects and interior designers. Materials and furniture concepts include handmade teak and rosewood chairs and dining tables, imported chandeliers and door handles, Sino-Portugese themed mosaic tiled floors, silk fabrics, fine china and silverwares. Acacia Tea Salon is to reflect its fusion concepts of the French's inspired Salon de The and the English tea culture. The ambitions of Acacia's owner is to provide an elegant venue with exceptional dining experience of the colonial era in the tropical setting of Yangon.
