Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very close to our hotel Chatrium. Big menu of Thai to chose from. It tastes very authentic Thai and the prices are good as well. We had 7 dishes for 2 adults and 2 kids, we paid 53,000

Conveniently located near Kandawyji lake, Bangkok Kitchen offers good Thai food. Ambiance is very typical of a traditional Thai restaurant with a lot of wood and bamboo. Papaya salad is delicious.

We had a nice dinner at this restaurant. If you're craving for Thai food, try this place. Coconut Chicken Thai Curry is my favorite. I just like that coconut curry taste. Price is a bit high I guess.

Tonight I met some relatives for the first time and we went to Bangkok Kitchen for dinner. We were originally going to go to a nearby Chinese restaurant, but there was a long wait, so we went to Bangkok Kitchen instead. I’m really glad we...did! The food was absolutely amazing! I don’t think I’ve ever had Thai food this delicious before. I’m from Vancouver and there are plenty of Thai restaurants, but they’re just so-so. We ordered several dishes, and my favorites were the peppered beef and vegetables, the green leafy veggie dishes (water spinach?) flavored with chilis and garlic, and the tom yum soup. In Vancouver, when you go to an Asian restaurant and ask for spicy, you never really get spicy. But this soup was actually spicy—almost too spicy for me, and I can tolerate spice! Aside from the amazing food, the place wasn’t freezing from air conditioning, like the Chinese restaurant. There were a few fans blowing (I much prefer fans circulating air than air conditioners constantly blasting cold air on you), and the temperature was very comfortable.More

We were a little unsure about the restaurant initially given the entrance, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. There is a vast menu with a good variety of options, mainly Thai but also Chinese. The Thai red curry in particular...was very good. We ended up coming here twice, and left full and satisfied both times. As other reviews have said, they do not sell alcohol, but allow you to bring your own if you wish.More

We had dinner there twice at beginning and end of our trip. It is a large restaurant and seems popular with Thai bus groups. However, the food quality was excellent on both occasions and reasonably priced. So it was a great alternative to the hotel...restaurant and is located just across the road.More

Located in Kandawgyi Park with the Shwedagon Pagoda in the distance. It has an extensive menu to choose from and authentic. Service was nice and fast. Meals were of good proportion and the quality was exceptional. They have at least 25 tables in the dining...rooms and also private rooms for those who have over 10 people and if you book the room in advance, they will serve the dinner in those rooms free of charge. Overall Bangkok Kitchen is worth every dollar spent for its delicious food at reasonable prices, calm atmosphere, cleanliness and the service they provide.More

We had a nice lunch at Bangkok Kitchen, sampling the Pad See Ew (not so good), the chicken with peppers and onions and the very tasty yellow curry with chicken which was terrific. The curry was freshly spicy and was served with little pieces of...a starchy potato and chive flat “bread” that was fried crispy and cut into little pieces. It was oily but I ate more of them than I should (kind of like when I eat too many freshly made chow main noodles at a nice Chinese restaurant). Very nice!More

Well as you can see from the title the meal we had there a couple of days ago was eventful to say the least. Firstly the food .. average to be honest nothing special, large portions of fairly bland Thai food. The menu has a...ridiculous number of pages so there is way too much to choose from. The service is ok, they at least try to be of assistance. When we went there was only us and another table, it's a huge restaurant so clearly it was not busy. Half way through the meal I noticed a rat ( could have been a mouse) running under the tables. I told the staff about it. They cornered the rat / mouse and clubbed it to death ( lots of squealing) they then took some tongues and put the dead animal in a plastic bag. As you can imagine it put us of our food some what so we decided not to have desserts. Taking the rat aside for one moment my personal opinion of this restaurant is that it's not great food / not bad putting it simply it's just an average restaurant. If you want nice food go to Onyx across the road and get a much better meal for the same price.More

we went there from our friend recommendation. the place were huge with great decoration but lack of maintenance. Serving varieties of Thai dishes but the taste are not so good. Grill pork are way too sweet, fried butter fish are not so fresh and very...oily, sticky rice are more like japanese mochi to me. The price are way too expensive compare to what we get from the restaurant, i would suggest other place to go.More
