Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hello - We have moved to a new and better location where we serve various menu options from breakfast to dinner and drinks at night. Do drop by when you have a chance. The new location is even better for friends gatherings. Thank you.

This cafe has been here a while now and is quite unique. Coffees are true to traditional name nor Starbucks styles. Ie a macchiato is exactly that and well done. Food are msg free — obviously have not tried all of the menu which has...a balance of local and pan asia foods. The Pho is perhaps the best I have had ( minus MSG) out of Vietnam. Staff are attentive- accommodating and always ask if the food is ok. Rare these days. Very pleasant outdoor and air conditioned indoor seating. A welcome break to the typical experience in Yangon - highly recommendedMore

Really enjoy the food at ambience at both branches of Salween. The menu and the creations of modern Burmese food & fusion foods there are a blast. I don't drink coffee but they have a great selection that would impress Coffee lovers.

I love the idea and concept where young generation try to modernise the Myanmar cuisine. Unfortunately, concept alone isn’t enough and execution must meet the expectations. Perhaps there are far too many items on the menu. Hope it improves as we need this sort of...fresh ideas in the Myanmar culinary scene.More

Awesome place, shame it’s a little out of the centre. Coffee was amazing (award winning in fact) and the food was lovely and pretty good value. Does need more vegetarian options though, choice is very limited.

The coffee served is locally sourced and the cafe is a fantastic place to try different blends from around Myanmar. In our search for great coffee in Yangon, we arrived at Cafe Salween to find an excellent selection of beans, friendly service and a wide...variety of choice in coffee prep (including Aeropress and siphon). Would recommend if looking for solid coffee drinks. FYI: All meal and drink preparation at Cafe Salween utilizes purified water.More

The coffee here is really excellent - similar to the quality you would find at specialty cafes in Sydney or Melbourne. They have a very wide range of options, including espresso-based and brewed coffee. Food, service and interiors are also great. Highly recommended!
