We drove to this place for dinner and wish we would of stayed at the resort. Gorgeous spot, they made us our own table on the beach it was so romantic
The meals were 5-star dining, cocktails delicious it was our best experience in Port Vila. Must go there for a romantic evening

Had an amazing time from the minute we arrived. The Resort had just finished its pool renovations, and although it took 2 days to fill up, the clean , warm ocean waters are just metres away. The complimentary apology dinner voucher was an unexpected treat. The staff and service at the hotel was exemplary. We found the room comfortable with the outdoor shower, and although no air con (which I hate anyway) , the ceiling fan was more than adequate. We would spend most of our time outside anyway. Even though we only had a Garden View room, the ocean is just metres away, and there is plenty of seating and hammocks that you can use and share with other guests. The rooms were cleaned in a timely and efficient manner. The restaurant is just superb. We ended up eating here most nights as it was just easy, and had no complaints with any of the dishes ordered. Happy hour is a great deal, and the evening entertainment lots of fun. If you surf, there are 2 waves within 100 meter paddle out. and Pango Point is a 600m walk away through the village. I surfed 6 days out of 9, from 2-5ft, some mornings by myself, otherwise just with 2-4 local boys, who all rip. Enjoy. Would definitely recommend. Best thing was No kids allowed :)

The perfect little resort for a relaxing getaway.
From a late arrival at 2am in the morning to having cancelled flights and wanting to stay a few more nights the staff were always helpful.
Food from the restaurant was always great and a wide options were available. Bar area is wonderful to kick back after a swim for a cocktail. Pool is brilliant and provides a beautiful outlook over the quiet beach/bay area to watch the days drift away.
Rooms are comfortable and spacious.
Loved everything about this place but it comes down to the amazing and friendly staff that make me want to go back. Well done to the Breakas team.

Breakas is a lively place to go for lunch, it is right on the water front, only a bus ride away from centre of Vila. Very pleasant atmosphere to dine. Menu quite varied and whether you wanted a snack or something more substantial it is available. I enjoyed a fresh lime juice and my husband a cold Tusker, sitting there enjoying the coastline and gentle breeze was just the ticket.

We reserved a table on the beach (subject to weather) but had a table beside the pool instead. There was a live band playing that night. The view of the beach and the pool were really nice. The thinly sliced beef was flavourful atop a bed of fresh crisp vegetables (Beef carpaccio). Seafood spaghetti and the grilled seafood were mediocre. I would come here again for the view and the 2 for 1 cocktails.

The beach bungalow was perfect, the staff fantastic, food good, pool and beach great. Best to swim when the tide is up, but we aware of the reef below. Happy hour 5-6pm is buy one get one free, cocktails were great. Food was mostly good, we recommend the fish dishes and pizza. We went on a tour to Lepela Island organised by the resort, highly recommend this. Also visited a few sites on the island via a driver arranged by the resort, also worth doing. Bus to town is easy, just 150vt each. Great location, just far enough from the bussle if town.

We ate at Breakers resort restaurant 3 times during our stay in Vanuatu, even though we were staying at another resort this visit.
The food was SO good! We highly recommend trying... also cocktails before at the bar during sunset were very good too!

We stayed 8 days at Breakas and could have stayed longer.
The huts are very spacious , and get cleaned every day. The out door shower is great.
You can snorkel from the beach over some pristine coral 'gardens' and some nice drop-offs , small canyons and caves.
Snorkel , paddleboards and kayaks are free to use.
Surfers can paddle out to surf.
The atmosphere was great and the staff is very punctual , friendly and always happy to help you.

The restaurant and overall atmosphere and view were fantastic.
Unfortunately we had a number of issues with our accommodation and left after 4 days and went elsewhere for our remaining 6 days in Port Vila.
Breakas is quiet and very relaxing. The staff are lovely and the restaurant was 10/10.
We ate there every night we stayed at Breakas.
* The fares need some maintenance and proper cleaning and fumigating. Despite moving rooms and this issue improving, we felt very uncomfortable. Once management address the insect issues, I’m fairly sure Breakas will be a lovely place to stay.

I went there with a friend for dinner and later on my husband brought our baby cos she was crying and this lady in the reception was so hostile and said kids are not allowed, this is a no children resort. She told me this whole 2 kids were playing in the pool. I said we haven’t had our food yet, she said you can’t got in. I told I need my bag she said wait here in the front she’ll go get it. Meanwhile a couple walked past with their kids to order their food from the bar. To make it short it was a very bad experience for a night that started out so well.

Wanted a change of pace and venue so came from another resort to Breakas on a Tuesday evening. The meal was wonderful and we had a great 5 piece band during dinner. We even got up to have a casual dance when the music suited. The band worked out what music we liked and we had an absolutely fantastic night.
Thanks Breakas. You have a winner restaurant and entertainment. We will be back tomorrow night for your feast and show.

Had dinner at Breakas last night, at their poolside dining overlooking the ocean. A stunning location with a decent menu selection. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Just like everywhere in Vanuatu at the moment it seemed like some of the gaff were still in training, but was a nice experience.
We both mad pizzas and mocktails, both walked away happy and with leftovers for lunch đź‘Ś

Excellent food. Between us we had the seafood platter, steak and I think a couple of pasta dishes. The chef did a great job. We had a few lunches and dinners. We were not disappointed with any of the dishes. It is worthwhile to go to Breakas for a meal, even if you stay elsewhere.

Vanuatu has been on our list for a while and staying at Breakas didn't disappoint. Stayed for 6 relaxing days. Loved the Fares in the lush gardens. Such lovely staff.
