Friday night is the night as the Beach Bar hosts the circus and fire show (circus on Sunday night as well.) Food is standard: pizza, burgers, fish and chips, drinks are good, but it is the ambiance that is worth the detour. On Mélé Bay,...More

We went for a drive and stumbled on this place for lunch. A real "beach bar" feel. The Friday night entertainment (acrobatic fire dancers etc) was recommended to us but we didn't get there. Another time.

Reading previous reviews we planned a Friday evening here as a 'must do' and were not disappointed. Bookings absolutely essential. Obviously the place to be on a Friday night. We sat beside a group of locals expats who say they never tire of coming here....More

We had a great "Aussie pub type" lunch. Burgers, corn fritter stacks, and Tusker beer..... perfect! Would recommend to all searching for an old fashioned pub lunch on a beach, overlooking the sea😀

You can ring direct or go to the front desk at your resort and they should happily do it for you......we stayed at Breaka's and it was not a problem for them ....just part of the service.

Hideaway Island Resort is just a short (1-2min) ferry ride away. The main attraction is the reef.

Transport in the local shuttle buses are about 300 Vatu per person (just over AUD$3) and they run until the bar is closed. YOu can all jump in one of those together and it's owned by local people -they are like a little mini... More

A great place to hang out for the day. The Beach Bar is famous for its wood fire pizzas, but offers a large choice of alternatives as well. The kids just love playing on the beach with all the free water toys while Mum & Dad relax in the beer garden. Sit back and enjoy the stunning sunsets over Mele Bay whilst enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. Keep an eye out for the special "Friday Night Fire Dancing" evenings, Tuesday Movie nights on Port Vila's biggest screen, right on the beach and our Sunday Sessions starting with live music from 1pm followed by our great new show "Sunday Kustam Karnival" where Bank's Snake Dancers meet our talented Circus Performers". Something for everyone at The Beach Bar!
