Great concept but I would prefer the side dishes to come after the items for the grill arrive as your chips are cold by the time the steak or fish are cooked. Enjoyable location at Anse Vata beach. Reasonably priced meals. This is a cook-yourself restaurant, so you can have steaks cooked exactly as you'd like it. NZ steaks are more expensive, implying better quality, however the local steaks were very good, so I wouldn't bother spending...that extra. Staff are efficient and friendly. This is a bit touristic, but not as much as places on bay of Citrons.More

We went out as our family of 5 and 4 of us throughly enjoyed cooking our steak on the hot stone. You could also choose two sides to go with it. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Not great options for vegetarian.

Large steaks that you cook at your table. Lots of food at a reasonable price ( by New Caledonia standards) great staff

I had steak with vegetables, my steak was very tough, and the mushroom sauce I had on the side was average, I did not enjoy my meal. My wife had a beautifully tender piece of steak, which she enjoyed very much. Although I was disappointed...with my steak I would go back and give them another chance if we return to Noumea. I was invited for a business dinner as a guest. The location was Stone Grill in Kone but I'm sure that the menu remains the same. First, service was very quick and the two ladies serving was uber efficient, where they not only serve but...also tend bar and do the billing. Multi Tasking at its best. As for the menu, for a non Beef/Pork eater such as myself, the concept of grilling one's food on a stone was novel but loses its novelty value very fast. This works for meat and no doubt this restaurant has good meat to sell but for someone like me who ordered the seafood concoction, having to grill my own food was tiresome. After a while, having to worry about if I've over grilled the seafood was became a chore and I was dropping food everywhere. This is not what I wanted from an evening out. Given that the menu has no lamb and a cursory selection of seafood dishes, I was not impressed with this location. I can't comment on the price but I certainly don't recommend this location if you don't eat Beef or Pork.More

We enjoyed the food, they were quick. Perhaps a little overpriced, but good food and you will not be disappointed as I was at the Thai nearby.

Good Gluten Free knowledge - very helpful with ordering GF options from the menu and if they were unsure they checked with the chef. Great service and a fun place to eat whilst cooking your own meal on a hot stone - would highly recommend...😀More

V/good & fast service. Good menu options. Cook youself steaks (ie on hot stone) - much more edible than those from the place over the water & at a better price.

I'm normally a bit sceptical about this type of place. I found everything to be great. Had fresh mahi mahi fillets cooked on the hot stone at the table. The accompaniments were also very nice - fresh salad 🥗 and potato gratin. Finished up with...cafe gourmand for dessert. Decent wines.More

Stayed in the area for a week and dined here 3 times. The stone grilled steaks are to die for... highly recommended. Fresh steaks and great service. There is also a really nice wine collection. I also ordered the venison as a starter and it...came out as raw thinly sliced pieces... extremely tasty and fresh. It went really good with the red wine.More
