The restaurant was almost right next to our hotel and we passed by a number of times, wondering if it was closed. Later one evening, we passed by, looked at the menu and had dinner. Mostly French food, well prepared and a good wine list. Not cheap but reasonable prices and good service. We'd go back again. They do need... More

We went to they restaurant based on reading the menu outside, which looked great! Unfortunately, what we found inside was that many things on the menu were not available- like my first three main course selections and our wine selection! I was thinking about leaving without eating, but my wife convinced me to stay, so I ordered the steak with... More

Even though the service was some what slow the food was well worth waiting for. The main courses are served and the final presentation is done in front of you on a trolley. Long time since I had seen one of them. Locals seam to frequent this restaurant would advise booking. Easy place to miss and walk right past.

Walked past this place everyday but never seemed to have people in it. One day we actually went in and there were a few people in it already but hidden from view. It would seem the owners don't want people to know they are open for business. The menu was limited. I had prawns which needed to be peeled but... More

We were recommended this venue & we're not disappointed. Excellent service. Plenty of choices. We both had scallops which were delicious. Setting is very quiet , convenient location. Owner is Italian & very friendly.

I went back here twice in 2 days, all because of the duck breast and sauce. I had a master class in making it after I asked the chef if I could watch him making it. So much butter in it, and I can still taste the orange zest.

Honestly, the food was pretty ordinary. I'm struggling to 'comprend' the rave revues. I get that French food in NC might not match Paris but this barely matched ordinary country Aussie pub. Barramundi with capers ok but just for the $30 price. Avec steamed veg - a spud and piece of pumpkin, overlooked piece of carrot an zucchini. But the... More

We went to Amadeus on the final night of our trip and were very happy that we decided to dine there. We had the duck and foie-gras stuffed quail, respectively, for mains. They were perfectly cooked with beautiful, well-balanced flavours. It was quite an experience watching the waitress carve the duck breast in front of me. For dessert, we had... More

Good food, good service, and helpful staff. They've done some work since an earlier review. The fish tank is still there, but with tropical fish, and the water feature has been renovated. I was very happy with the food all three times I went there. I would say the food is a modern French / European. Well presented, well cooked,... More

We had lunch here on our last visit and we were very impressed so we booked for a special dinner on this trip. The food was very good and the restaurant is delightfully charming. I had the lobster ravioli followed by the beef which was cooked to perfection. Not sure what my wife had as it disappeared very quickly. This... More
