Excellent business dinner at Paris Cayenne. A gourmet restaurant, probably the best in French Guiana. It was full that night. Clearly the formula works ! It could also explain why service was too long although attentive. Anyway it was worth waiting, our meal was excellent....Creative mix of traditional brasserie cuisine and local favorites. I chose in the extensive menu exciting dishes like catfish ravioli, eggplant caviar, jumbo prawns risotto, ginger ice cream sprinkled with finger lime. We also shared a bottle of Chablis. What else ? Spacious room, cozy atmosphere, refined design setting with contemporary paintings on the walls, original decoration locally inspired, small interior garden with tropical wood and plants. My girlfriend lives in Cayenne and I recently visited her there. We went to Paris - Cayenne twice and had excellent meals both times. The Foie Gras was excellent, and so was the Risotto with Gambas. I have to say that the fish dishes in...general were excellent. The only dessert I had was the Mont Blanc and it was very good. If you’re in Cayenne, try this place out.More

We went here to celebrate my girlfriend's grandma's 90th birthday and regardless of the noise we made we were made to feel at ease and they made the occasion really special. The food was amazing and we enjoyed that they used local produce to create...vibrant dishes. I had been there last year for my birthday and the standard is still just as high, on that occasion the owner's recommendation for the tuna was perfect. The atmosphere is perfect for either a romantic dinner or family celebration and we hope to return soon! Thank you again!More

I had a long flight connection time in Cayenne and the night before my flight I decided to check on tripadvisor where I can go to have a nice meal (after a disaster eating week in Martinique). I thought that Restaurant Paris Cayenne should be...a good option after see all the revews and when I arrived at the Cayenne airport I took a taxi to there. After 40€ of taxi I arrived on a Thursday to a closed door. Tha's not serious.More

Read the reviews before going... we found the owner to be quite nice, friendly and helpful to be honest. The place itself is really nice, much ambience. Very good menu. We tried a few dishes, some delicious, some like the Ceviche a bit bland. Restaurant...was full, they had to turn away customers. It seems they could do with more staff, as we found it a bit slow, too much time in between courses. The food was priced accordingly, butbthe wine perhaps a bit overpriced for what it was. We asked for a suggestion but did not go that well with the food. Overall a good experience and we would go back.More

Cayenne has been the most difficult city I have ever visited. Of course it was work related (I am the coach of a Football Team), had it been tourism, my wife and kids would not have stayed more than a day. There are no true...activities, it is hot as it can be, rainy, and scenery is just not there. Yet in the middle of this, in a surreal situation, is Paris Cayenne, perhaps one of the 3 best restaurants I have ever eaten it. Menu is a work of art. Flavours are Michelin Star quality Service is good Place is Beautiful The Guyanne Shrimps are out of this world. If I ever need to go to Cayenne again, I´d eat and dine there every day.More
