Authentic Thai flavours and spices! Very good service, generous portions and excellent options.
If you are fond of Asian food, make sure not to miss this place! You will not regret it. Highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. 3 out of 4 got the lunch special for 40 bs which was soup, a veggie roll, main meal and dessert. Most of us had the rice noodles with beef, or shrimp. Service was great, and fast. There is...outside patio and indoor dining.More
We went to Vinapho to satisfy my craving for Vietnamese food. I am quite often in South-East Asia and just love it. So, when I heard about this restaurant, I had to go. We were received and served very friendly and food is ok. There...is nothing to complain of, but there is nothing really to make it outstanding.More
When my partner and I received the complimentary soup at the start, we both noticed a heavy metallic taste to it. Oh well we thought, no big deal, it is complimentary.
When I got my Pho Ga however, it had exactly the same overpowering metallic...aftertaste. I ended up picking the chicken (very dry) and noodles out but couldn't eat the broth due to the taste of metal. My partner tasted the soup and confirmed the bad taste.
I'm not sure whether this is from an aluminum pot or the water in La Paz (although we've not had this metallic taste in any other meal anywhere else in Boliva).
My partners green curry was decent though, and the fresh spring rolls were nice also. The place has a nice atmosphere, but the fact that the pho broth had such a bad taste to it was a real let down.
Regarding service, I had made sure to request bean sprouts and lime when ordering my pho. I received neither. After I noticed the bad taste in the pho I thought that some lime might make the broth more tolerable so I requested some lime a second time. I never got it unfortunately.
I've seen some of the replies from the owner to reviews here and hope that he may read this as constructive criticism, and not take offense to my review as he has done with others.More
The complementary miso soup had a small plastic bag in it. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she took it away, said nothing and replaced it with another bowl. No apology. Weird, I thought. We ate. The food was not exactly Vietnamese but...an ok effort. The bill arrived and we were fully charged for every dish. I felt I should point out that in a proper restaurant there would be an apology and a discount. Another waiter came back 10 minutes later with bowl of soup discounted from the bill. But it wasn't about the money, it was the service. I asked to speak to the manager and got this aggressive, rude guy (who I was told was the cashier) whose opener was: "Dime" then said he just arrived, didn't know what the complaint was, oh yeah..sorry, what more do you want? Really sour, bad attitude. Thumbs down for the service, there's better places to eat and spend your money in La Paz..More

First off, I'm very sorry you didn't get YOUR REQUESTED FREE DINNER for the small plastic you found in your COMPLIMENTARY soup. Better luck next time requesting a FREE DINNER for any mistake in your food.
Second, it wasn't a miso soup what...More
I am so impressed with the excellent service at Vinapho. It was so refreshing to be comfortable eating at a restaurant that offers and accommodates to my gluten free needs. We were a large group and I felt that the service staff was very attentive...and able to give us great service. The food ness delicious and had such great flavour. The love that is put into it can be sensed in every bite.
Thank you muchMore
If you don’t have at least 1 hour before being served, avoid going there.
I ordered a take out lunch, and they never brought it. When I went to cancel my order after 40 minutes, they didn’t even apologized.
Too bad the good food is...ruined by their awful service.More
