Good fast food restaurant. Excelent Uruguayan sandwich (chivito canadiense). Prices reasonable and if you pay with an international credit card you obtain tax refund of aprox. 15%

We were travelling with friends and wanted to catch up with emails after days on our cruise ship which charged outrageous internet rates. We stopped at La Pasiva on 22nd St. They serve basic fast food, such as Pizza, pasta and burgers. My burger was good and the internet was good – did not drop out once. Beer is half... More

This is the best place in Punta del Este to try the authentic Uruguayan "chivito Canadiense". To have a superb experience order one "chop" of draft beer. And for desert give a go to one of the most delicious Uruguayan desert, "chaja". For sweet lovers try chaja with "dulce de leche". This menu will let you with all the flavours... More

Famous for their hotdogs! They have a white horseradish mustard ,, ketchup and mayonnaise. We also ordered fries and a tall frosty local beer extremely delicious.

The day we went to this restaurant, we had little time, so we looked for something that was fast. We ate pizza and drank wine. Nothing spectacular, but met our expectation.

The food is good, more like fast food, the price is average. It's a classic, when in Uruguay you have to try one of them.

You may see it full of families with kids. Many locals used to other franchises of the same chain. But "pizzeria" La Pasiva in its different locations here is expensive for the poor service an low quality food. Having other options, avoid it.

Arrived for dinner and found the place packed. We managed to find a table - it's open seating. Unbeknownst to us the place caters to families. Between children chasing each other around, without any parental discipline, and crying babies we managed to get our food. Don not recommend for a relaxing dinner.

If you want all the typical goodies of the country - chivitos with real local beef, húngaras with their famous white mustard, fainá or pizza, spectacular fresh salads of your choice of ingredients, chajá... this is THE place to eat at a moderate price and very fulfilling plates, accompanied by a local beer, wine or mineral water! Support the local... More
