Impeccable service, amazing omakase lunch menu, creative cocktails. We were blown away by the food. Strongly recommending this lunch menu omakase. They were very kind and as we were there for birthday they made a personalized birthday message on the dessert plate and provided one additional mocha ice cream dessert for free too. I asked to be seated at the table by the window over the sea which they nicely accommodated.
The entry is through Four Seasons hotel which is exquisitely designed inside.
For everyone going to Abu Dhabi, do not miss 99 Sushi Bar for lunch!

Our visit to 99 Sushi was nothing short of fantastic! The restaurant offers an incomparable blend of exquisite cuisine, impeccable service and an elegant, modern atmosphere that enchants every guest.
Every meal is a true taste experience. The chefs here know how to combine the freshest ingredients into perfectly balanced, tasteful masterpieces.
It was a surprise trip through the finest and most creative dishes of the house. Every bite was a revelation, from the silky texture of the sashimi to the perfect harmony of flavors in the Teriyaki tuna!! .

Dishes were prepared and presented impeccably, the service was excellent (high praise for their manager McCoy), and the fresh wasabi and the excellent spy sauce elevated the sushi dish. I dont know where they got it or if they made it but that was the best soy sauce I have tasted and we've eaten sushi in many countries including Japan. Worth a visit.

We have visited to so many Michelin star restaurants, but this is the worst Michelin-star dining experience in Abu Dhabi.
Firstly, the staff's helpfulness was lacking. They didn't change our plates during the meal, the water wasn’t refilled, and the waitress didn’t pour the soy sauce.
To top it off, the 99 Spirit cocktail was served in a cheap-looking plastic container.
The food quality was average and over price.

This place is more than a sushi restaurant. It's a place where you smile at little touches such as the tiny pill that turns into your hand towel at the start. The food is ornate and cooked with the very best ingredients. Prices match the high end quality but if you want to experience it on a budget do the Business Lunch. Amazing value set menu for 9 courses plus coffee and tea. We did it on my wife's birthday and the staff were fantastic. They even brought out a complimentary desert with her name on it. Recommended.

This place is a mixture of emotions. The flavors of the food are definitely the peak of this dining experience. All sushi pieces are assembled with carefully selected ingredients that make them savoury bombs. And don't forget to ask for the vegan menu to check out, the fried eggplants are incredible.
However, the service and the waiters don't live up to the gastronomic expectations, some are clumsy or forget and mess up your order. I was left disappointed by the dessert, they can definitely be improved.
The bill is what you would expect from restaurants such as this.
But overall it's a very nice restaurant that I can definitely recommend.

99Sushi and the entire team are second to none. This restaurant serves top of the line dishes of superior ingredients. The Japanese Contemporary concept is mind blowing. It is so refreshing to see that the past years of restaurant quality decline all over Abu Dhabi has not taken place here. You will find ingredients you would like to see in such a restaurant. The Kobe steak, Sea Urchin and Black Cod were fantastic. The Tempora baby Octopus and and tiger schrimp tempura “dynamite style” were out of this word. Other dishes like gyozas and even the miso soup taste exceptional and thankfully not the same as elsewhere. The prize matches the quality and I am so happy I was able to have a perfect meal with my loved ones here. We will come back. Thanks

The price is higher than other business lunches in the Galleria, but 99 Sushi's business lunch set menu is definitely excellent quality from start to finish, so it's worth it if you really want to treat yourself.
Tables on the terrace were lovely and worth taking advantage of before the high heat returns. The staff was highly attentive and professional. Provided a complementary delicious cheesecake inspired desert for my wife.

Every year we visit 99 Sushi during Ramadan for their iftar set menu and every year we are blown away by the experience. We were initially hesitant to try this out because our uncivilized tummies weren’t too convinced they could be satisfied by a “tasting menu”. Boy we could not be more mistaken.
Chris, our server for the night, perfectly timed the serving of each dish and has thoughtfully explained each. Food just kept flowing and we sort of lost count at times. Yes it’s small portions, but we felt full even before the last dish. I was as surprised as my date.
I was trying to think of my favorite dish from the Haru Tasting Menu and I reached the last word of this review undecided because everything was so delightful.

Visited for brunch and had read the glowing reviews, being associated with the Four Seasons we thought we couldn’t miss.
Food was uninspired. The higher end menu items like lobster or scallops weren’t included despite every other brunch in town throwing their best at you. It appeared deliberately cheap. It’s advertised as 12 courses but when starters are a bowl of rice and edamame (boiled pea pods with a bit of salt) there’s little anticipation for what’s to follow.
There was a spiced prawn dish that was absolutely fantastic but that chef stands alone and it didn’t disguise the cheap Spanish wines or atrocious service.
Not sure why but the toilets are black with no obvious lights so previous patrons appeared to have had no option but to soak the facilities.
Worst brunch in 10 years of living in the ME.

Went for dinner at 99 Sushi and it did not disappoint.
Food is a mix of traditional Japanese and fusion cuisines, with some outstanding sushi and sashimi and some more modern dishes.
The atmosphere of the restaurant feels very cosy and exclusive with perfect lighting.
Service is attentive and extremely professional.
This obviously comes with a certain price tag but definitely justified by the quality.

We stumbled into the 99 sushi more by chance, it's a bit hidden and not big, just near the Nusr Et. We prefer the 99 sushi anytime! The business omakase menu was such a treat, we were just happy with every single dish. The staff is great, elegant, caring. The sushi chefs from Japan are so dedicated, each dish is art in looking at and in eating. Unfortunately we only had the chance to eat once at 99 SuShi Bar and Restaurant but we will be back for many more!
