The pizzas available from the small menu are delicious. Once inside, you forget where you are and the simple decor suits the food well. The restaurant itself is very small, so I imagine that in the evenings it could be hard to get a table as it is becoming well known in the expat community for the quality if its... More

Yes, this place is a member of AVPN. For those who are true pizza connoisseurs, they will know what this means. And as is to be expected, it lives up to this tag. It is a small, hole in the wall kind of place, with immigrants of all kinds as staff both in and out of the kitchen, but do... More

Yes! Great pizza. A little spendy but worth the money. A little out of the way, but worth the effort to find it.

Pizza made as per original recipe and ingredients , flavors of pomodoro sammarzano and bufala, sapiently cooked in the wood oven. Great attitude of the manager, Mr. Ali Definitely the best pizza I had in ages and across Saudi Arabia, UAE , Qatar and Kuwait. Highly recommended to dine in. Note : dessert was complimentary by the manager

auntentica pizza napulitana, bread dough natural fermentation. like in napoli, smell bread and smoky wood, with very good ingredients. only the bread alone is enough. but the simple margarita... wonderful. The place is maybe not enough big and not so well decorated. but what do mind? pizza is really good.

We ordered one of the pizza's and the garlec bread, it was really good but I have 2 notes on the place... 1) the location is not good at all, and very small! they need to move to a bigger ..better location. 2) the menue is one page and not a lot of choices. I know its a tasty pizza... More

Description
SOLO Pizza Napulitana (SOLO) There is a little piece of Napoli located in a small corner of Sharq, in Kuwait City; where owner and Pizzaiolo, pizza maker, Amr AlRefai, wanted to introduce the concept of a true and simple Neapolitan pizza experience. Established in 2011, 'SOLO' is the first pizzeria in Kuwait to be awarded the Seal of Authenticity by the Association of True Neapolitan Pizza, "Vera Pizza Napoletana (VPN)", becoming the 353rd member in the world. This pizza is made with the freshest of ingredients, cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven built by fourth generation Neapolitans, and shipped all the way over from Napoli. Flash baked and fire kissed, SOLO's pizza, in one bite, has your taste buds begging for more. When making a pizza, artisan pizzaioli in Napoli are creating a magnificent work of art. All the flavors of Napoli: fluffy handmade dough, rare San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, lush green basil, and extra virgin olive oil come together to create this masterpiece; where "less is more". Like the traditional pizzaioli of Napoli, the pizzeria runs according to a strict code of values: simplicity, authenticity, honesty, integrity, and respect. This small pizzeria conveys all that is Napoli, where old meets new. The delightful smell of pizza baking inviting you in, creates a cozy and warm atmosphere. Step inside 'SOLO', and taking center stage, is the traditional wood-fired oven decorated in tiny tiles of smoky grey and fire red orange. Take a seat in any of the marble tables or at the bar, to get an up close view of the traditional pizza making in action. In the end, all that matters, is that a little piece of Napoli is about to be served steaming hot, right in front of you, and as the Italians say "Buon appetito!"
