Both my wife and I have traveled and patronized restaurants all over the world, but I must stop right there and tell the readers that the service, professionalism, friendliness and excellence (let alone the food) is second to none at the Sato restaurant in the Gulf Hotel in Bahrain. Highest commendations are to be given and recognized to Mr. Andy... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always consistent and the staff are always attentive. This restaurant has been going for years, but it hasn't lost any of its uniqueness. The sushi is always fresh and the teppanyaki is probably the best we've had anywhere in the world. Great job guys, keep it up.

Tasty, well prepared food with a choice of set menu or a la carte. Always entertaining to see the chefs cooking and juggling expertise! Set menu a lot of food for one person - although you can always take away what you can't eat. Save some room for the delicious tempura ice cream!

There was no loud music or annoying background sounds. The surroundings encompassing natural wood and rice paper walls provide a soothing environment where normal conversations can flow. The food preparation and presentation is pleasing to the eye, while the service is attentive yet not over whelming. There are ample offerings and selections for Vegetarians.
