Whenever I've been, tourists seem to be the majority of diners. Having said that, this is no tourist trap. The value is excellent and... More

One of the most popular places to eat at Amman, economic and good quality to have traditional Lebanese dishes. Worth to visit if you go to downtown.

The simple menu is all delicious and without meat. We did not order the foul but ordered the other three: hummus, moutabal, and falafel. Hummus and moutabal were good as expected, though there was a little too much olive oil added to the hummus by default for my tastes. Still delicious. Bread was standard and not warmed, but that was... More

We enjoyed the food and felt that it was very authentic because we were the only westerners enjoying lunch when we visited.

And yes- it does french fries. But you can skip them. just go with the basics. Bring your Purell and tissues. We went to this hole-in-the-wall but remarkably busy eatery in the early afternoon after going thru' the Citadel and Temple of Hercules. The taxi ride from there was 3 JD. No menu. just get the above. comes with Pita.... More

It is popular with its felafel, hummus and ful (fava-bean paste). It is crowded most of the time but the service is really good and great and it is very cheap; you can order a meal with bread and tea and cost you around 1.5 JOD. If you are planning to go to the downtown for a walk and baying... More
