we were told to 'come any time'. when we got there there was going to be a wait. we agreed to sit at a small table by the door. that was the first mistake. the food was ok but the small plates were not good quality. the whole fish, mushroom and muscles were pretty good.the ambiance of people pushing etc... Really fun atmosphere in one of the trendiest areas of Tel-Aviv. The salted fish (most expensive item on the menu) was delicious. Similar to other "local" restaurants, the table receives tons of small mezes to start. One aspect I did not appreciate was that we picked out a reasonably priced bottle of wine and the waiter said he strongly suggested... More

Location, location, location: marina views to the left and to the right. Definitely ask for a table outdoors, drink a local beer, ask for the mussels or the ceviche and just enjoy it... Make reservations to avoid the wait.

We managed to squeeze a table in at Bennys at the last minute, and there were serious queues outside. Comfortably sat inside we were handed a main fish based menu as the restaurant title would suggest We ordered the fish of the day (sea bass) that came with enormous starter with an amazing range of tastes, then the fish was... Our business hosts took us out for dinner to this restaurant. The wait was short, but the restaurant was full, whilst those around it where not. Starters assortment of dishes is excellent. Our hosts ordered a full selection, and many of the dishes where outstanding. Deep fried cauliflower heads stood out for me. Had the grilled seabass as main and... More

We had booked a table here for 8pm and, on arrival, checked in with the hostess on the front desk, to be acknowledged brusquely and told to wait. There were many other people waiting: clearly they have a policy of overbooking the restaurant. After 10-15 minutes, we were told that our table was almost free, but they then tried to... More

I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. This place has excellent service, an amazing atmosphere, and even better food. The owner overheard us ordering fish for the table, but insisted we change our order and try the fish he loves the most and ensured us if we didn't like it that it would be on the house. The food was... More

Went here with my wife whilst staying at the Yam Hotel, which was only 5 minutes walk away. This area of the port, redeveloped in recent years, is very busy at night and this place is obviously very popular. We booked for 20.00 hours at about 17.00 the same evening. Within 15 minutes of sitting down, people were being turned... More

Nice place in the Tel Aviv port area, next to a shopping area and brand stores. Good food, pleasant atmosphere. It seems to be always full, so it is recommended to book a table.

Dropped in for dinner on a business trip. Prices were ok, service not particularly welcoming - the pre-main course small plates more thrown down than placed in front of us and the waitress seemed to be disappointed that the fish I ordered was in fact available when she initially said it wasn't. On the positive side, the food was good... More
