This cafe was right next to the AirBnB. Had no idea what to expect. Food was delicious. Eggplant, Moroccan cigars, Papaya Salad, Veal Sausage, pickles were all good. Ceviche was outstanding! Server was very nice and was attentive.

We visited this establishment this week and will never refer anybody to visit them. I was most surprised and disappointed that management asked us to vacate the table that we occupied because we bought an IceCream elsewhere simply because they did not have ice cream...More

Very nice and helpful staff. Efficient and discrete service. On top of the regular menu, they offered a ´catch of the day' and fried fishes. All was delicious. We would definitely return.

Jopea Kitchen Bar is in its 7th year of business as a popular local kitchen bar. Jopea offers a selection of boutique beers, fine wines and exquisite cocktails. If you are a whiskey connoisseur we have single malts of up to 25 years.

Jopea Kitchen Bar serves a variety of dishes made of the freshest ingredients purchased daily from the local markets. Our dishes are based on cuisine from all over the world, with a small twist of Israeli flair in each of dish, that is sure to excite your senses.

The meat, poultry and fish are all from local suppliers/fishermen. We select fish in accordance to the freshest catch of the day!

Jopea Kitchen Bar offers seating on stools, creating a bar like atmosphere or seating at low tables for a restaurant and intimate dining experience. You can also sit inside at the bar and enjoy eclectic music from Jazz and Blues, to African upbeat music, whilst being taken on a journey by the decor that surrounds you.

Jopea was designed in the spirit of artists and of the flea market as you will see from the decor inside: looking up at the roof you will see vintage doors hanging from the ceiling and a variety of drawers that come out from the walls creating a special ambience with a surreal touch.

There is a huge oil painting on the side of the bar (facing Rabbi Pincas) created by a local artist and inspired by ideas of the owner of Jopea. The painting describes and illustrates the atmosphere of old Jaffa – we won't give it away, you must come to see it.

If staying in Tel-Aviv, or visiting Jaffa, an evening at Jopea is something you can’t afford to miss out on.

Opening Hours:

Mon–Sat 6pm-1am (or until last customer leaves)

Fri – Also open for brunch 12noon - 6pm

Sun – Closed.
