Gueta offers home made jewish north African dishes that will be very tasty for all, not just those who are familiar with this food from home. Welcoming service.

I can't recommend this place enough. The food is home cooked Libyan food featuring mostly couscous dishes and stuffed vegetables. The couscous was the best I ever had - each one light and separate and fluffy. The sauce was amazing with chunks of potato and meat floating in a slightly spicy red sauce. The sauce was sucked up into the... More

We have not been to Gueta for a few months. Do not be put off that the outside fabric of the building is being renovated and don't be downhearted that the restaurant appears shabby This restaurant serves authentic Triplean food- that is tasty and different from other cuisines in Tel Aviv let alone israel This is a great place for... We went with another couple visiting Israel. The restaurant serves authentic Tripolitean (Libyan) food. The food is delicious and there is a wide choice. The portions are quite large and a couple can easily share a dish. The decor is simple, more reminiscent of a worker's restaurant, but very clean and welcoming. The best part of the evening was the... More

It's been a long time since my last visit to this Tripolitan food place. Everything stays the same in a very good manner - very good ethnic food with lovely service. Don't skip the kouskous and the salads for a starter.

Since I had not eaten Libyan food before, I was rather eager for the experience. A number of dishes were unavailable when we arrived for supper. The restaurant very basic. No sooner had we ordered our starter and mains, and all dishes arrived together. Yes it was cheap by Tel Aviv standards, but it's not a meal I would repeat... More

I was eating here for years but not in a frequent way. The portion of the meal are huge. The food is home made in a pot that seat all night in a traditional way. It is very tasty and I doubt if someone can finish his all plate. Try the Complet and the wonderful traditional cake at the end.
