Julie will tell YOU what you want - and she'll be right! Fresh, beautifully seasoned, prepared, and served with a smile. Stuffed beets, mangold, soups with garlic and more garlic, perfect ground coffee with cardamom. Fresh figs stuffed with a meatball. Fun and delicious place with character. And Julie is quite a "character" too, she is part of the experience.... More

An absolute must go if you love Egyptian Food. Julie is so passionate and a great chef. Her small places feels like home. Try the stuffed wineleaves and the meatballs with tumeric and nana. Or just try everything because it's all made with so much love and soooooo tasty!

Julie is the best place to eat in the Carmel market in Tel Aviv. Julie will get you in to her kitchen and ask you is you want spicy or not, then let her do the rest and serving you with her homemade food! Come hungry!

If you're looking for authentic Egyptian flavor, you're going to love Julie. What she serves is small batch artisanal flavor that she hones over hours each day. The location is charming. The staff is friendly and attentive. An ATM is easily accessible next door.

A very small charming restaurant on a road parallel to the shuk hacarmel. Go see what you want in the kitchen and Julie and her son will fix you a plate. I had the typical Egyptian soup moloheia, followed by full with rice and meatballs. An excellent lunch, like being at my mother's. The service can be slow on a... More

Great home cooking made by lovely, smiling ladies 5 stars for the great authentic food, lovely hosts took a star for the surprisingly high price for a main dish.

Julie's whole family is involved in this restaurant enterprise. An amazing spread of home-style Egyptian-Jewish food is prepared starting at 5 AM in a tiny kitchen, and guests go in there to pick out what they'd like to eat. The small dining area is decorated with photographs of Julie's fez-adorned family. My meal included stuffed artichokes, stuffed beets, kubbeh, and... More
