Stopped over for a late lunch after having walked for a good 30 minutes from the Carmel Market. Was the only restaurant in the neighborhood that we could see and we were desperate to stretch out our aching legs and to seek shelter from the torrents of rain. Overall, slightly on the pricey end but food was quite good. Had... More

First of all, the place is magical, and equally important, so is the staff. We started with Foccacio (best there is) and carpaccio salmon. Followed by lasagne(husband) and salmon with roasted vegetables (me). Both were good. We finished with sorbet and fresh fruit. It was good but what made it so special was the lovely smiling service. We moved outside... More

We visited for breakfast for my wifes birthday for the 2nd time after visiting more than a year ago. The breakfast standard has gone down drastically and it is very average compared to the previous year and other coffee houses. Also no coffee or juice is included in the breakfast, so this costs extra making the breakfast expensive for such... More

We came upon this place by accident. We were initially drawn to the characterful building with old style awnings in a tree-lined street. However, the food and the service were an unexpected surprise. Best trattoria-style Italian food we have had outside of Italy. The spaghetti carbonara was made properly, al dente, with an egg yoke, rather than drowning in cream... More

I go to Tel Aviv on business once or twice per year and my usual hotel is a five minute walk from IH 1887. I discovered the restaurant on my first visit and on each subsequent visit I have enjoyed meals or sometimes just a refreshing beer at 1887. It's not a fancy place at all but the terrace is... More

This is a cute little Caffé near the Gelateria Anita in Neve Tsedek. We didn't eat but had good coffee here. The service is friendly (they served us a coffee when they were already closing shop for the weekend).

I came here with 12 people and we had a fantastic dinner. We had several pasta and pizza dishes which were made with the freshest ingredients. The home made focaccia was to die for. The service was fantastic.

Great place. Been several times. Menu refreshed every few months. Best focaccia in tel Aviv (in my opinion). If you're looking for good food in a lovely atmosphere which is not smack bang in the middle of the city, then I can't recommend this place more highly.

Weather you sit outside on the sunny terrace in the quiet and flourished street facing the oldest cinema of the city - a must see- or have a sit in the comfy sofa inside, or at the bar.... You'll always have the pleasure to enjoy one of the tasty and refined meal of the diverse menu. Important point : Whereas... More
