This place gets pretty packed but it was close to our hotel and we were exhausted from traveling. Not bad mexican food. They give you shots of slushy margaritas when you arrive to taste. Strawberry was very good. You are packed really tight together when...More

This place serves a good western-mexican dishes. I had beef tacos (3 pieces). It was longly cooked shredded beef served on small soft taco disk (not a hard taco shell as usual). Nevertheless, it was quite tasty, not too fat. It also comes with side...More

Highly trafficked restaurant that serves many beach-going tourists. Food reflects typical American Tex-mex. Enchiladas are good. Margaritas seemed watered down, but the bartender comped us additional tequila shots when I complained. Service is a little weak, but unsurprising perhaps given crowded touristy atmosphere. Prices are...More

Ran into the Mexicana by accident and glad we did! The food was fresh and flavorful. I'm not a Tex mex expert but I love Mexican and this food was really good. The salads are outstanding and the tacos Barbacoa were on point. The family...More

This is a pretty good restaurant. The portions were good, considering that the portions of meat at most restaurants are small. We were ready for some beans and tortillas after eating Mediterranean food for 10 days. I ordered a barbacoa burrito and the meat was...More

This small Mexican restaurant somehow seems out of place amid the high-rise tourist and business hotels of Tel Aviv, just steps from the Mediterranean Sea, but it's a welcome break from hummus and falafel. Order some of the outstanding avocado for an appetizer, very fresh...More

Description
Mexicana is a restaurant serving ethnic Mexican food in which you can taste a variety of the dishes from an authentic Mexican kitchen as well as much more. The restaurant is characterized by a variety of Mexican tastes mixed with American-style TexMex offerings as well.

On the menu you can, of course, find the usual offerings from the Mexican kitchen including: tortillas, guacamole (avocado spread), frijoles (bean spread), salsas and Mexican cooking sauces such as chipotle, mole, jalapeno and chili. The menu offers a selection of authentic fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas and tacos for adults and a separate children's menu as well. With our menu we also offer a variety of house-special margaritas with fresh fruit. We also offer a bar to sample a variety of tequilas and special Negro Modelo beers.

The restaurant is decorated in authentic Mexican style and you can see Mexican motifs all around you (Somberos on the wall, flags and weapons from the Aztec Wars). Also, the color theme comes from the ancient Mexican palate (light blue, cream and red). We play Mexican musician and the atmosphere is both pleasant and welcoming. Perfect for a romantic evening or a family evening
