We have been craving Indian food and the food at Kohinoor Indian did not disappoint. The butter chicken was VERY good however it does not come with naan or rice, you have to choose what you prefer a la carte. The vegetable Thali cost 45NIS/$11.70 USD and I would say that this is a reasonable price for the food offered... More

First time visit. Not a planned dinner. Butter chicken tops.. Daal excellent. Good chicken Biryani. Naans good. Service was great. Chef made sure to make food to our taste and kept every dish as authentic as possible. Highly recommend..

This has been our third visit as we are big fans of Indian food. This experience did not disappoint!! We were six friends with very differnet dietary restrictions - and all of us enjoyed every bite we took. Don't miss their Kashmiri dum aloo dish - it is exquisite!

We ate here about two weeks ago because it was close to our hotel and we really fancied a curry. My advice is to avoid this place like the plague. The service was pretty bad - the waiters were more interested in chatting with each other behind the bar and we had to ask them a couple of times to... More

Been here twice. First time I went they didn't even have half of the menu available, and second time the food was average. Wouldn't go here again.

I don't write review too often, but this place really was frustrating for me. I flew into Jerusalem late one night, had to work the entire next day and missed a decent lunch, then was so excited to head to Kohinoor (right down from my hotel on Shamai). I ordered water, paneer masala, and garlic naan. First, its very odd... More

I came in with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised to get some pretty decent Indian food (non-kosher thank you!). We came for lunch on Independence Day and we were the only ones in the place. Chicken samosas were good, chicken korma was flavorful, and palak paneer was nice. I'm sure everything is frozen and reheated so this is... More

Kohinoor is a small, casual restaurant that s close to Zion Square. It was quite busy, but the service was quick and attentive. We enjoyed the traditional Indian fare after several days of Israeli meals! All was well-prepared and delicious. Our only Indian meal in Israel!
