En Karem is worth a visit in itself, with its curving cobblestone alleyways, rose hedges and ancient Christian Arabic history. Sweet En Karem is an equally quaint little cafe hub in the centre of the village, where the locals like to meet and linger outside for a cup of coffee and pralines. You're guaranteed good conversation! The chocolates themselves are... More

Really fine homemade chocolates, and great ice cream too. Perfect dessert for the meal we had at the bistro across the street.

Our 6-year old is a connoisseur of fine ice cream and is very picky. In fact in our adventures over a month in Israel and Jordan she wouldn't touch any other ice cream, and absolutely loved Sweet N' Karem's. And my wife and I loved their coffee, and my wife even got a hot chocolate as it is made with... More

This tiny store, on the alley that leads up to the Church of St John The Baptist, is amazing - like a tiny treasure cave, full of delicious handmade chocolates (including sugar free varieties), ice cream and coffee. there are a few tables outside. Prices are not cheap but very fair for high quality product.

Our family was staying over in Ein Kerem for one night, and felt like something hot and sweet. Well, this tiny gem served good coffee and tasty pralines. Service with a smile from two lovely young ladies was what we received - even though it took time to decide which of the wide range of hand made pralines each member... More

Amazing ice cream! Right down the street from the Church of John the Baptist, with a few seats outside. Most of the flavors have little chunks in them - the white chocolate has white choc pieces in it, the dark chocolate has dark chocolate chunks, etc.
