We asked for the menu and they pointed us the picture of different dishes on the top of the entrance without price; as it seemed a cheap restaurant and we were tired and hungry we ordered four dishes which tasted horrible and 3 juices, we left most of the food on the plates. The bill was 678 shekels. We complained... More

DO NOT GO HERE. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time -- there are many other restaurants with better prices and they do not insult you. Disclaimer: my friend and I have traveled abroad a lot, so we should've been smarter than we were. But spending the full day out and about, we were exhausted, not thinking straight,... More

Do not come here. They will cheat you, overcharge you, and insult you. My friend I were charged 385 shekels for chicken shawarma, schnitzel, and two waters. When we argued about the bill, they had the audacity to mention some of the charges came from their "service charge fee." We unrelented, and demanded we get charged a fair amount for... More

We had a delicious pomegranate and ginger fresh juice. I had great falafel, and my partner had the hummus. Both were good.

Four of us stopped here for a quick bite to eat. We asked for a menu and they said they didn't have one, just pointed to the overhead display and said they had the traditional dishes of falafel, shawarma, etc. We ordered 3 portions of falafel and one of shawarma, 4 glasses of juice and a coffee each. The bill... More

Try this place only if you are wanting some REALLY OVERPRICED and REALLY LOUSY food!! Skip the menu . . . oh wait, they didn't have one!! Skip the restaurant, save LOTS of money and try someplace that values the tourist trade and doesn't just take advantage of it. It is extremely overpriced - save your money for something more... I love middle eastern cusine and while visiting the Christian quarter in the old city in Jerusalem I stopped by the Hanady Restaurant for a quick falafel. The serverer was polite, prompt and helpful. The food arrived quickly, was well portioned and tasty. It wasn't the best falafel I've had and neither was it the worst. The shock came when... More

After enjoying the Old City we stopped by this cafe near the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for a quick bite to eat. The charismatic owner quickly invites you to sit down and is keen on bringing you a cold drink and some of his specialty shwarma. Because we took his suggestion, we didn't look at the menu given the... More
