Heard that they closed. Really saddened on trip to Jerusalem, was looking forward to this meal. Last time visited salads and kebabs were excellent, especially fried cauliflower and chicken liver kebabs. Plenty of homemade food. Great photos on the walls.

We were just in Jerusalem. On our first night, as is usually the tradition, we had planned to visit Minaret, which is located in the center of Jerusalem. It's suddenly been closed, whether temporary or not, no one knows. The cuisine was home made Middle Eastern, fresh mezzes, vegetables, lamp cutlets, steaks, fish and a lovely selection of Israeli wine.... More

We were sold this as a great meal with many choices prior to a night laser show in Jerusalem's Old City. The laser show was great, but the dinner was so bad for the price of USD $77.00 per person! Some appetizers that were not replenished and only 3 food choices (served communally) that were VERY reluctantly replenished and then... More

Both great food and lots of it. The place is big and was not busy on the snowy night we were there in January 2015. The service was fast and attentive. We had >10 salads and a few kebabs each for <300 Shekels.

What a delightful meal. We experienced first hand the tradition of serving an abundance of food. The salads were fresh and varied. The mixed grill full of flavor, we particularly enjoyed the lamb chops. The French fries were a standout for my boys. Try and save room for the Turkish coffee and baklava. The cost 300 to 350 shekels, for... More

Always great experience in this restaraunt. One of best and tasty places in Jerusalem, comfortable, very tasty Middle East food, meat, salads, etc. Local Israelis and tourists love this restaraunt and we visited it many times already.

The place is open on Shabbat which is great if you are coming with the tourists, we bring our tourists there sometimes, the food is very tasty, drinks with nana , all salads, they have very tasty meat, kebabs, lamb, hummus, etc. The place is nice and quiet, close to the Old city .

We were literally the only customers in this restaurant on a Saturday night (New Year's Eve). Perhaps it was a bit early for dinner when we arrived, but there were still no other customers by the end of our meal. This might have given us a bit of concern, but the experience was very pleasant. We placed ourselves in the... More
