This place looks cozy, the food was amazing and the staff very friendly. Do not let yourself turned downs by the look of the entrance. It is very authentic and worth your cash!

Their appetizer salad was fresh tasting and delicious at the same time - they didn't hold back with the local flavors.

Food ok, nothing special but better than eating in shopping street. Helpful servants who explane its menu. Amazing interier.

Was looking for some good food and saw the reviews but I didn't think it was anything special. We had pasta and kebabs. The Kebabs were just ground beef with a bit of seasoning and the pasta was bland. Not sure if this is just what the food is like but we didn't like it much.

What a wonderful place! Everything is very fresh and super tasty! We've been to the tavern few times and it was always of a high standard. Their vegetable soup is a winner, humus, pittas, kebabs, and the authentic Armenian dishes are so so delicious!!! If you are coming from Jaffa Gate, keep right for maybe 5 min and it will... More

Our Israeli tour guide recommended this restaurant and she was right. We ate here right before the Tower of David light show and it was quick and light, which was what we looked for.

The kebab was very tasty as well as the rice that came with it...the little salad was a disappointment. Our appetizer of beef sausage was also very good: slices of sausage that were fried up with onions and green peppers. The atmosphere is what you would want from a restaurant in the Old City, the atmosphere alone is worth coming... More

My boyfriend and I went here during yom kippur during a week long stay in Jerusalem. The staff were nice and really attentive but the food was average.
