The food here was really good, with classic, Italian style thin crust pizza. My only complaint is that our waitress seemed a bit zoned out when serving us food. Otherwise, pretty good.

Jerusalem is a more religiously-conservative city, and as such is almost entirely shut down on Saturdays, which is Shabbat, the Jewish sabbath. On any other day of the week, Jerusalem is as busy as New York City, Los Angeles, London, or Paris. But on Saturdays, the city is practically dead. Very few places, and most importantly, very few restaurants, are... More

This restaurant stays open during Shabbat, so is a good place to have lunch on a Saturday. The place fills up, so get there early. The portions are large and the food is good. The service is prompt and friendly. Recommend

The restaurant itself is really cool...a converted really old stone building...and the food was wonderful. The signature foccacia was predictably great, as was the homemade pasta. We went back twice on our 5 day stay in Jerusalem. Friendly staff as well.

The varied and extended menu has not changed in a decade or more and probably for good reasons. Asian American ,Sea food and anything for everybody .Helpings are big , Service is fast and correct .Choice of drinks suits all .Just not the place for a quite and discreet conversation. Reservations are a must and may request a bit of... More

I ordered a salad (Chicken salad if i remember correctly) and after they serve it to me i notice broken glasses inside it. of course i complained about it and the maximum they were willing to do is to change my salad to something else.. well i expected from them to something else.. it was kind of dangerous.

On shabbat, when most restaurants in Jeruzalem are closed, this is a good option. We were with our family and it was our first time ever to have to queue and wait approximately 45 min on a table. It was worth the waiting, focaccia's are really good and there is a good atmosphere. The half Iraqi/Italian girl was really nice... More

After we were moved two times from our tables, two couples, because of dripping over our table on a rainy day, the shift manager (owner?) said he will compensate us with some calamari dish. We got the calamari dish after finishing the first course and the waiter asked us if we wanted some dessert. We said that we have ordered... More

Pretty much everything in Focaccia bar is tasty, the plates are big, and the place is nice. Open in Shabbat, not kosher, which is cool because you can have pizza as it's supposed to be: meat and cheese. I come here very often :-)
