If anyone will read all my reviews... I was lucky to eat on many places I really enjoyed... This one... Edie's hideaway is probably the best by far when it comes to value per money. The last time I ate there before was in 1992... many times at that period... with Edie himself as chef... Now after I came back... More

The restaurant located in the city not on the promenade, in the heart of a residential neighborhood. May not look impressive from the outside and the interior design is also not a high level. But let me tell you something, the food is really delicious! A wide selection of steaks and a rich wine menu, you do not need more... More

The Eddie's hideaway is not a fancy restaurant. In fact, there is a good chance you will miss it the first time. It is located in a middle class neighborhood, away from the city center and the hotels' zone. Well, it is really the food and the service that makes it so special. We ordered the local fish, the "Sea... More

I like this restaurant very much. The menu offers a large veriety of dishes, including Meat, Fish and Sea food. The pricing is reasonable and I liked the cozy ambiance.

Good European menu, Good service. This is one of Eilat's top restaurants and has been for many years. Service is good and English spoken as in most places in Eilat. Prices at Eddie's are high for Eilat but worth it for a special evening.

Went there for a second time. Excellent steaks (took the Cajun version). We came with out daughter (3 months old) and they put us in an isolated wing so she could sleep quietly and we didn't bother anyone as well. Highly recommended.

We went 3 times to Eddies and each experience was different. The food was consistently good with excellent steaks bit the service varied. As in most restaurants in Israel there can be large overwhelming family groups which are a challenge for a restaurant which is also trying to create a romantic atmosphere. Each time the staff were different and sometimes... More

Our hotel made the reservation. When we got there the hostess was perplexed about our table and the place was near empty. The menu said steaks came with salad and potato. The waiter bright a small salad for two of us but when we protested he got us another. Waiter said salad was not really a starter. Before we finished... More
