The owner is a great guy and makes it a point to know his guests. I loved being here and enjoying the town from the patio. The owner has recently installed new seating and it's much nicer and I assume more comfortable as well. You'll enjoy a nice beer here and a good time!

We enjoyed our night in Selçuk with very cool Turkish friends! And also we have tried a very good Narghila!! The place is right in the center of the city, very easy to find and we'll connect with all the nearby hostels.

We stopped at the Celsus Cafe for an after dinner drink. I had a coffee while my girlfriend had a hot chocolate. The service was good and our host did the best he could to provide us with a service in English. Various patrons came by the fireplace to warm up and we struck up a conversation with them. A... First time we sat in this place was in the afternoon after a busy morning of visiting the attractions around Selcuk. The place is quite laid back in the afternoon and one can really enjoy some tea, coffee or a nice pint while playing some board games. We also had a small talk with the owner of the Cafe who... If you are a first-timer in Turkey, and staying in the resort areas, you will have got an entirely false idea of Turkish food and hospitality. This is where places like Celsus Cafe comes to your rescue. No "full English" breakfast or Yorkshire Pud, just plain honest Turkish food, cooked well and served with a smile. Ask to see where... This is a really nice place to stop for some refreshments, especially if you have walked from Selcuk, or if you have toured Ephesus from the lower to the higher end. Ice cream was tasty, and it was nice to retreat from the souvenir guys.
