I love all House cafe chain but this one is my fav so far. Located in the hidden courtyard among with other nice cafes. Food is great,a lot of choices. Prices are okay. Also they have good wine card.

We went to this cafe in the evening and had really delicious dinner. I tried different meze which were all great - I highly recommend mücver! Service was very attentive but never intrusive. If I visit Istanbul again I will for sure come again.

We went there for breakfast on a Friday morning and the place was quite empty. Although the food was good, it was overpriced and service was extremely slow.

Located in a tunnel at the end of Istıklal street, a place full of cafes and restaurants, House cafe is a beautiful choice with its refined style. The staff was friendly and helpful and the prices normal.

Stopped here for coffee and a glass of wine and decided to ordered the bruschetta. The ingredients were simple but the flavours amazing. Good coffee too.

Our 1st night in Istanbul, so wanted a tasty, casual evening meal. Took Tunel from near our hotel and found this little street straight across from the station. Packed with restaurants, had to weave our way through the tables. Chose "the House" because it had a welcoming interior. Too chilly for me to eat outside. The barman was doing a... More

We (three thirtyish girls) had breakfast here and it was great. The hollandaise eggs (with a side of bacon) was possibly the best breakfast I've ever had. The eggs were poached to perfection, there wasn't too much hollandaise sauce. The toast had this amazing pesto oil spread... I would go back again if we didn't have to leave! The waiter... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
