The restorant is located just outside the Egyptian Spice market!! If someone wants to taste turkish pies is the place to visit! Homemade fresh ingredients and the friendliest staff!! It's a small family restorant! You should taste everything. Safranbolu is famous for its pies and and this restorants pies exceeds its reputation! I highly recommend it!!!

Walking through the market near the Spice Market we happened upon this place. We were a might peckish, but it wasn't quite lunch time yet. Had a ride with cheese, which was just alright, not great. But the other dish was this thin bread that was overlaid and a nice spicy meat inside. Good service and very clean.

Incredibly memorable pide lunch baked in wood-fired oven. Run by a family and they were charming. Definitely skip all the restaurants that back up to Sulemaniye Mosque and visit this little gem instead.

Staying in Grand Bazaar

Neighbourhood Profile
Grand Bazaar
Tourists, hawkers, and locals come together at the Grand Bazaar to comb its labyrinthine passageways in search of a bargain – be it a pair of brand name jeans, a handcrafted silk rug, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Outside the vast bazaar, worn, narrow streets wind their way down from its lofty perch to the southern shore of the Golden Horn, where the evocatively aromatic Spice Bazaar beckons alongside the elegant New Mosque (opened in 1665). Nearby, the famed Galata Bridge offers pedestrian access to urban delights across the river in Istanbul’s more residential and contemporary neighbourhoods, while the must-see sights of Sultanahmet are but a leisurely stroll away.
