We had a mixed grill, a chicken kebab, fries, water, ayran and tea. Everything was really delicious. The waiter was very kind and not pushy. And for all of this we had to pay just 43 lira.

The food was average. You can find tastier food in the city. The price is not too high. The service is normal.

A small menu but more than enough to choose from. Tasty food served by friendly staff. It was more popular than many places we used and seemed to have mainly local people as customers.

If you are staying at a nearby place, please do eat here! My family and I had enjoyed the food. Living in the United States you know sausage is generally made using pork meat but the wonderful thing about Turkey is that as a Muslim you can eat sausage without worrying whether its halal or not. ZiyaBaba provide garlic beef... More

This place is great as service is quick and prices are low. Just across from the reggae bar. Ziyababa doesn't serve any alcohol so come across after a session at the reggae bar!! Had chicken shish kebab for 11 tl

Lovely people, signed up to the very welcome 'No hassle' scheme. The food is standard Turkish grill fayre, but really well done; The depth of flavour in all of our dishes was significantly superior to other places we tried. And the prices? It confirms the rule that the less you pay the better you get. In terms of atmosphere and... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
