The rather grand clientele, piano and beautiful surroundings gave me the impression this would be extremely expensive - it isn't. The deco interior strongly reminded me of the Libby of Eltham Palace in London. The menu is quite limited, and mostly pasta dishes and cakes. Food is tasty and service is good - the waiters don't speak much English but... More

This lovely cafe, on the 'ground' floor of the private Pera Musuem is actually just off Istiklal St, opposite a car park, & near the British Consulate & Galatasaray Fish Market: but there don’t seem to be any direction signs to it or the Museum itself. It is such a haven from the bustling city & has extremely comfortable seating,... More

Pera cafe is located on the ground floor of the museum and provides lots of comfortable seating with tables or sofas and chairs. Food was mostly desserts and drinks. I was not aware if there were lunch items available. Staff spoke English.

I had a coffee and it was delicious together with a slice of chocolate mousse cake and inside looks very modern.

Lovely cafe/tea room with Maria Callas' piano in the middle of the room. Banquettes or comfy chairs. Gorgeous pastries, tea and coffee.

ok baked goods, nice place to sit. Museum's very good - mix of modern art and old. Unfortunate that tripadvisor doesn't list the museum.

This is beautifully decorated art deco style cafe. The atmosphere is sophisticated but casual. Wonderful for a light meal, lunch or a little treat. Delicious baked goods and great coffee. Definitely worth a visit whether you visit the museum or not.

The café in the new private Pera Museum (which is worth a visit just for its very nice museum design but which also has some very good collections) is one of the nicest places to have a tea or coffee, a small meal, to relax and hang out, also to visit friends of colleagues in the Beyoglu area of Istanbul....
