the restairant looks nice but the bill which arrived in the end of the meal was a disappointment; tips, still water and bread were included though bread was not served during our meal and of course nobody told us in advance about those costs; the food was not delicious but ok.

This restaurant is totally bad. Staff is bad and try to steal us some Liras by "forgetting" to put the right price on the Credit Card machine. They also force you to pay a tip and even when you pay it they say "backshish backshish" to you to give them an other tip... Moreover, food is bad too and my... More

In the heart of the city (Beyoglu / Istiklal Street) yet cozy and quiet. Meze plates (tapas) and main courses are delicious with reasonable prices. Indıviduals and groups are wellcomed by an experienced staff. Live traditional Turkish music can be listened on weekends. Do not forget to try Pasha meze, Topik, small herb dishes and fresh seafood.

Nice restaurant, good service very friendly (especially Ahmet Erdogan). Good turkish food, especially mezes. Good price: we were a group of ten persons and we spent 41 Turkish Liras (around € 20,00) each. The restaurant is in a good position in Beyoglu, ten minutes by walk to Tunnel Square and 15 minutes to Taksim Square. Very close also to the... More

This is a small restaurant off the main drag of a very busy pedestrian area. The food was good and for a reasonable price. They were kind enough to get someone from the back who knew some English to help us order. There was a good selection of meses and main dishes that were nicely seasoned. The service was also... Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
