Despite the fact that this week is low season and the city is empty. This place is full and well known by Istanbul people. Strongly recommended to visit for dinner. Excellent Turkish food. Very tasty meat. You see and sit directly where the meet is grilled. Very nice atmosphere. Good service.

Food was quite average......service was spotty with poor communication and untrained employees, taste was average and quantity was good. And who charges cover/kuvar for a restaurant? I was quite disappointed by the ratings on trip advisor for this food place. As a foodie, I use social media to verify experiences to ensure I don't get bad experiences. Have to say... More

My friend and I spent a couple days walking around Istanbul, and neither of us brought a jacket. At Zubeyir, we were seated at one of the grills, so we happily went from hypo to hyperthermia. I didn't feel completely comfortable having the coals at face level, and space was limited, but it added to the experience in its own... More

It has 4 stories. Grill is on a couple of them. Very high quality typical kebab place with meze and grilled meat. Everything is simple, but intensely tasty, nicely prepared and swiftly served. Great marinades and spices and the chicken was tender beyond belief. As almost anywhere in Turkey - great breads. Generous portions. A few local wine choices. Very... More

The crowds speak for themselves. The food is to die for. You name it, it's great. The lamb kabob, the lamb chops, the salads...It truly is an experience not to be missed. If you want to make some friends, sit next to the BBQ grill. You can't help but to say hello to your neighbours. Check it out. Really. You'll... More

I am reviewing being a local person who has understanding of local dining (local food) Dined on Monday 12th December 2016. Booked three days in advance for 4 people and sit in second floor just beijing the grill (not the actual grill table) 1-service quality needs to be enhanced. It was pity to see that old style service persistent in... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
