We went to Pierre Loti on a Friday afternoon for sunset. It was a great decision. Went by taxi to top. Has Turkish coffee at a table with a great view of Istanbul. We then took the cable car down. Really good experience

Both the cafe and upstairs restaurant are excellent. It is the same menu so no dearer upstairs where you have a great view.

i ll say.... View ...food...service...in that order. a rather crowded place with a colorful ambiance. The crowding is even welcome in such places it adds to the overall impact. A shady green gem of a place. A must do, as is pierre loti itself.

After a long day if sightseeing, we came upon this cafe with amazing view. We ordered flavoured tea and coffee and their cakes. Both were good. Reasonable price too.
