Its nice to be greeted with a smile when you order and the staff at Common Grounds certain know how to do that. The cafe latte is creamy to taste and smooth, not bitter as has been my experience in other Vientiane coffee shops. The...More

I had breakfast here my final morning in Vientiane. Everyone who works here was so friendly - the foreigners and Laotians alike. Good coffee and fast wifi. Plus the prices are much more reasonable than some of the other local coffee spots. They also give...More

This was my favourite cafe to get work done while in Laos. The internet was much more reliable and easy to connect to than other cafes. There is lots of space and big upstairs area. Friendly staff and owner/manager working there. The avocado shake with...More

Vientiane is filled with awesome cafes, and this is no exception. Really enjoyed their Mexican food (I've been traveling in SE Asia for 3 weeks). They also have arguably the most delicious mango passion shake in the world.

Tried the gluten free pita (corn flour wrap, 38,000) which was pretty average but nice to be able to have the option of a "sandwich". The gluten free brownie (12,000) was also made with corn flour so was a bit dense...there are many other ingredients...More

Excellent cafe for food & drinks using locally grown products. An interesting variety of drink flavours but maybe a bit too sweet. Ask for less sugar. Environment good, cool, pleasant, comfortable & clean including facilities. Lao staff speak English, polite & helpful.
