Found thus restaurant on the web so we popped round to have dinner. The service was very good and foo excellent. We went a bit early actually 6 pm so it was not full, but as we left it was getting more customers. Well worth going for a good Vietnamese meal

Stopped here for dinner with my partner and we ordered the Nem Nueng set for 2 and the set of 5 Goi Guon rolls. The Nem Nueng was delicious. The pork sausage was nice, the herbs and vegetables fresh an the sauce was sweet and tangy. Would definitely recommend trying this. The Goi Guon rolls were also good and again... More

When we arrived at Vieng Sawan, the line for takeaway was long...and all locals, must be good. My Lao wife sat down and ordered a variety of dishes to share, deep fried and fresh spring rolls, the house specialty...Vietnamese nam neung, fresh sausage and an arrays of veggies and condiments to make wraps with...very yummy. Fresh squeezed orange juice was... More

We saw this mentioned on a blog and so being huge fans of Vietnamese food we thought we would check it out. Most definitely more popular with the locals than tourists, but it was jam packed which seemed a good sign. They have menus with English which make ordering easy, and we chose the most popular set of mince pork... More

We came here wednesday night after reading positive reviews, We walked in said hello and smiled like we always do, the lady turned her back on us, so we sat down anyway and she bought over one menu for us to share. After some confusion in translation we ordered some fresh spring rolls and some deep fried spring rolls, and we... This was a discovery for us as we have not taste Vietnamese cuisine before: spring rolls pork balls with rice sheet, mint, basil, garlic and lettuce and 2 types of sauce (spicy and sweet & sour) sort of sushi with omelette, the rice being replaced by leaves of parsley and lettuce (I can't remember the name of the dish) When... This style of eating is alien to most westerners but with my Cambodian wife and our kids it is a thing we know, don't know the name in Lao/Thai ... rice paper and vegetables, meat, sausage, fried sring rolls and all ("Nhom a chuuk" in Khmer). Too good this place, if you are not sure how to eat this style... More

We visited for dinner one night after coming across the busy dine-in & take-away business. We found a place to seat ourselves and led the girl out to point to the fried spring rolls for our order. We were presented with a plate of veggies and, soon after, a crackling plate of fried spring rolls which we wrapped in/with veggies... More

The place itself is easy to find. It's a typical Asian style restaurant.Nothing fancy about the decor. the most famous dish is Nam Nuang (Fried pork spring roll Vietnamese style). I have to admit that the food taste good, soft , tender & smell good as well. Price was fairly cheap. Service was fast & attentive. But it would be... More

Also known as Dao Vieng, this is my second visit. Popular among locals, it has a limited menu. The meat sausage set and steamboat are the main attractions. I had the former, plus deep fried and fresh spring rolls, which was a mistake since the rolls are very similar in taste but with less meat compared with the sausage set.... More
