There are many restaurants in Phnom Penh claiming to be Thai or serving Thai food. Finally, we found one that really does serve authentic Thai. It is in Street 278, near the junction with Street 57. It was established in 2005 and is patronised by Thais living in the city. Most of the usual dishes are listed on the menu,... More

The Tom Yum Kung has been in business for a long time. It caters for the Thai community and travelers looking for reasonably priced Thai food. Almost any Thai dish can be ordered here and the food comes quite quickly. For drinks, if you are tired of beer and coke, there are very good fruit shakes and quite inexpensive (mostly... More

Massaman curry that i ordered was obviously red curry sweatened with honey or something like that. Hot and sweet. Burned nuts inside the dish was not nice eighter. My husband was a bit luckier than me.

We've visited this restaurant 3 times in the last week of being in Phnom Penh and it's never disappointed. The staff aren't overly friendly but the food is really tasty and the prices are quite good compared to many places in the area (average of $3.50 a dish.) Definitely worth a visit for a tasty, well priced meal!

This restaurant is my favorite in all of Phnom Penh. They have a very large menu and I have tried many of their dishes. Some of the highlights are the spicy clams, the panang, the pad thai, and the soups, but I've never had anything I didn't like. The prices are very reasonable (in the range of 3-3.50 for most... Been here few times, simple deco, good food, reasonable price, will recommend this place. They had a air conditioned second floor which I didn't go before, because ground floor was not that hot, even is room temperature. Some staffs can speak English, mix of customers here, locals and expat. Love the papaya salad and steam fish with lime sauce.

Located in prime area, al fresco type. Good foods, mostly khmer or asian foods. Taste are okay and acceptable. The price are worth the portion. Overall is recommended.

Fantastic local restaurant, busy with locals and tourists. The food is excellent and a great price. Service is good and staff friendly and welcoming. Ate there many times as a family. Wish I was there now!
