Obviously the place to meet for every expat under the sun. Almost like a UN meeting place. But somewhat "worn"... There are many better FCCs around the world, this one would not be one of them. Having said that, it's an impressive building, the roof top view is cool and the staff are their usual Cambodian super friendly

When visiting over 10 years ago, we went here 2 times for meals and were very satisfied. Back then, there were a lot less choices and the place had quite a crowd. Recently,I went again and was most disappointed. The service was fine, but the food was average and the place was pretty quiet. My food was undercooked and lacking very... More

With panoramic views over the river on two floors and lovely comfy chairs this is a perfect place for a lazy lunch. There is a comprehensive menu but we sampled a couple of the light bites - quails eggs which were made like scotch eggs but deliciously runny inside and salt and pepper calamari. Portion sizes were large and food... More

Went when restaurant quiet ordered 2 starters and 2 main course plus drinks. Both main courses arrived before starters and only one drink! Constant requests to staff met with blank stares and nervous smile. Spoke with manager who stated ' staff training' but no apology. Insult to injury with mandatory service charges.

We visited the FCC when we were in Phnom Penh about 12 years ago so were keen to visit again to see if it still had the same chilled out vibe. We were not dissappointed and enjoyed some lovely 2 for 1 cocktails during the happy hour. We didn't eat there but the menue looked good with a good choice... More

The final night of a six week trip in Indochina and we were beginning to focus on the home leg but we were very taken by this busy and atmospheric restaurant. My husband's river fish was sublime (and he had eaten a lot of river fish throughout those weeks!) Wine was good and not overpriced. All in all a great... More

FCC Phnom Penh Restaurant and Bar - Casual open-air dining on the MekongWith a passion for fusion cuisine, FCC group chef has created the FCC menu, introducing generous flourishes of traditional Khmer flavors spiked with funky French influences. While the menu is still built on FCC main-stays such as beer-battered fish and chips, deli-fresh sandwhiches, and wood-fired pizzas, the heart of the menu remains a finely crafted blend of Asian, Mediterranean and Western-influenced flavours. The BarThe "F", as those know to frequent the big horseshoe bar call it, has served stiff drinks, camaraderie and comfort to a storied cast of journalists and diplomats, movie stars and intrepid travellers since 1993.Back then, when The "F" first opened its doors, the bar gave shelter from the gritty and tense streets of the capital, where an uneasy peace was just taking hold. Writers and their sources traded secrets in the shadows. Diplomats drank their per diems, swapped social strategies and spilled their martinis.Today, the bar still serves a stiff extra-dry, and the journos still pass through on the great hunt. The tension is gone. But there's still plenty of action, and the liquor, on occasion, still gets spilled.Open Daily 7:00 a.m. - MidnightHappy Hour 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
