I am obsessed with this place, kept going back over and over..delicious local dishes, familiar atmosphere and lovely staff. If you are looking for a good experience at the heart of Baku try Qaynana out.

One of my favourite dining experiences in Baku, I loved the rustic, traditional decor & authentic vibe. Qaynana has a fabulous location in the heart of the old town & was crammed with locals & tourists alike. People were queuing outside for a table.... yet...the greeting was warm, helpful & accommodating & service friendly & keen to please throughout. Located in the old city, this restaurant is a gem. With a traditional oven for the bread, which was delicious. We took a very fresh tomato salad with pomegranate, an ok plate of mezze, very good meat dumplings. The kebab was good, meat a little...bit overcooked… baklava as dessert was delicious. This was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and service is stunning. They looked after dietary needs really well and very graciously. Our favourite dining experience in Baku and parts of Europe on our 7 week holiday. Thoroughly recommended.

Best food we had in Baku! The salad was nice very fresh and full of flavor we had to order one more just because it was so good. Bread was fresh and tasty as well, we had the meat platter which came with the Saj...it was very delicious and flavorful. The service was great the only thing I would recommend is if they add English to their menu or if they have staff who can understand English to explain the food before we order….there was one guy who spoke English and the waiters kept on calling him whenever we wanted something. Apart from that it was all perfect and good value for money high quality food and service.More

Great food, great staff and great atmosphere. Really enjoyed it and returned there every other night during my stay. There is also live music and delicious wine. Definitely recommend it.

Qyanana restaurant is located in the historical şehir içi. It is one of the oldest restaurants in the city. Has a uniq own character with live music in the background is really enticing place. The service is great. Nice staff and the service was excellent....The lady who took care of cleaning made extra special and hospitable. The food is prefect based on the cultural aspect. Lamb's liver from the charcoal grill I ordered but it was too dry because it was over steak My recommendation to the chef is not to steak to much the meat or ask guests how they want the meat cooked. I visited this place based on my hotel' recommendation and I loved it. The ambience is very good and it has great views. The food quality is so good and staff were friendly. Highly recommended.
