Hidden charges hiking up

I went there to have my lunch I asked for coffee There lure you by showing low prices then the prices creep in I asked for milk in coffee I was charged 50 pence only for the milk I was suggested if I wanted lemon...in my water then they charged me £1 for the lemon wedges The service charge was placed in the bill and I told them to take it out of the bill as it is for me to decide whether I will pay for it or not. They insisted that I should pay and that these are rules in Azeirbajan and all over the world As a seasoned traveller with around 90 countries under my belt I have never been forced to pay the service charge…if it is obligatory why they don’t include it within the price and I know in advance what I need to pay for Deeply disappointed as I am having a smashing time in AzeirbajanMore

Food Average, Service SO SLOW

This well known restaurant/teahouse enjoys a lovely old town setting & its 4th floor, open fronted terrace boasts great views over Maiden Tower & beyond. It has an authentic feel, with traditional furnishings & the mystical fug of much puffed on hookah pipes. They offer...a menu in English & take credit cards, but sadly are unlicensed. The greeting was warmish & service pleasant enough ........ but good lord, the service was dire.....as in 15 minutes for the menu to come, another 15 for the order to be taken, close to 30 further minutes for the drink to arrive ... & so on & so on. My salad was a 6 out of 10, the bread tasteless. I'll be kind & conclude by saying I enjoyed the ambience.... & was most certainly given plenty of time to savour it!!!More

Nice food, nice view

The food was great, when it came, it did take a long time to arrive. Just a note that this is a non alcoholic restaurant, bower the juices come in a jug as well as by glass.

Go to place to try local food with good views and food

Dinner in Baku

Good service and the food was delicious. Highly recommend TABAKA for chicken lovers. Our waiter Shamit was really amazing.

Incredible service and delicious food in an ancient setting!

I loved my experience at Cay Bagi 145 because of the incredible service. I loved sitting next to the maiden tower. But the best part was the excellent service from Fariz. He is an incredible server and is an expert in customer service. Thank you,...Fariz!More

Great tea afternoon in town

We found the terrace, by chance will strolling around old town. It was such a lovely experience. The decoration very eclectic, carpets everywhere and a magnificent view over the city. The waiters were extremely nice and everybody speaks good English. I strongly recommend for a...stop in Baku.More
