I am from Gaziantep/Ayıntap/Antep and the region where I come from, we are incredibly picky about meals. In this restaurant I felt at home. :) I would recommend all of the meals! I wanted to meet with the owner and tell him how great dinner I had but unfortunately he was not there. I had great communication with the waiters,... More

This very popular western Armenian restaurant called "Anteb" has been one of the very first eateries offering western Armenian dishes. It is always very consistent in the high quality of their food, the cleanliness of their restaurant and great service with a smile. Notable in their large variety of menu, is the popular "manti". The problem with Anteb Restaurant is... More

The hot, freshly baked puffy and flat breads are terrific, and great for dipping in fantastic baba ghanoush, hummus, a tzatziki/raita dish of yogurt/mint/dill and cucumbers called jajek, and more! The lamb in a hot pot is tasty, but you'll want to order more, such as mante yogurt soup with meat dumplings/ravioli, and a must try -- the Anteb lahmajun... More

I like Anteb. As an American Armenian (who doesn't speak Armenian), I find the menu very easy to navigate, plus the wait staff speak English. But, the food just isn't great. I want to like Anteb more than I do... great location, "Western Armenian" flair, etc., but the decor is drab AND, what's worse, it is the smokiest restaurant I've... More

Some of my colleagues went to Anteb multiple times per week, and I went in with a healthy dose of skepticism. But this place delivers. I probably ate here five times in my five months in Armenia, and I had a delicious meal each time. I brought my out of town guests here as well, and all of them said... More

I travel here about every 6 months and stay about 45 days. This is my favourtie restaurant in Yerevan and have made a habit of going there every Thursday night. Food is always good. Staff really tries hard. Selection of wine is good. My only complaint is sometimes the smoking is awful. They do open up the sliding windows in... More

The place serves what basically is upscale Turkish food. This was the only place where many waiters don't speak Russian (and their English wasn't great, either). Being super popular, they are likely to require reservations. Worth trying once, but I wouldn't come back.

If you are in Yerevan, then you must try Anteb at least once. The Manti is one of their authentic and delicious meals.

When can one start from? Imagine all your favourite dishes at one place, prepared in the way you like. Anteb for me is one of the best places to eat at Yerevan, over and over again. The set up is simple. No expensive décor and furnishings. But who really cares. One goes there for the food and that's where the... More
