If you want a good evening out with typical Armenian food on the menu, and music. You can always find non locals eating there. Worth a visit.

An okay experience, a bit of a chaos at first, but then we got our menus and the food was decent. Not that much of a waiting time as we visited in between lunch and dinner. Not sure how the restaurant handles full floor, but our experience was a good one.

1. Good music and interior 2. Awful service: - we have to wait more then half hour before the table that we have booked became free - we have got other dishes from that we have ordered - the portions were quite small, on the relevant question waitress answered that they brought 1/2 portions (why?)

Best place to try traditional Armenian cuisine, not the barbecues and kebabs they serve everywhere. Nicely done in ethnic style, decorated with lots of handsome artifacts like genuine old photos and documents. Every night they have live 18th century Armenian music with vocals. The only minus is their toilet, located at the top of a long flight of stairs, small... More

This restaurant recommended by reception at our hotel. We booked a table at 8pm, half our party was served at 9, the other half over an hour later. One dish was OK, another was edible; two were simply awful. We had to ask for water several times (after a very hot day), and simply had to laugh about it all.... More

Three of us went and none of us liked the food. The service was so-so but the traditional Armenian music - live instrumentals and a male and a female soloist - were great. I'd suggest going for the music and ordering something small to eat or drink.

Real armenian food as it was served centuries ago(in pottery cups and plates), imagin no coke or sprite are served only wine & water... all being served according to Armenian traditional cuisine and methods. As for the live music played it is just AWESOME, with Sayat Nova and kousanagan songs... Liked the sink, reminded of my grandads village house sink...... More

Undoubtedly, the best thing about Our Village is the music. From troubadour songs to "estradayin" (pop songs), the musical group does very well. The singer has a pretty good voice and the group knows how to put on a show. The food, unfortunately, does not match the music. Though the list of entrees is extensive and very authentic (khashlama, dezhvezhik,... More
