Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

LOVE this place!! We’ve been coming to Nha Trang for years and always visit this resistant more than once on our trip. They have a heat selection of drinks & wine which is hard to find. The food is always delicious but the best part...is the work they do with the children, they’re doing an amazing job, so go super them! You won’t regret it.More

Myself and 3 friends attempted to go on Monday evening and upon arrival the gate was closed and lights were turned off. I’m not sure but it might be permanently closed.

We enjoyed the open air of the restaurant, the service, food and prices! The restaurant is up a narrow stairway with open air seating, the staff is friendly and attentive. Our main server, Ngoc, taught us how to say some of the menu items, chatted...with us and gave us honest recommendations. All of the staff work the room to ensure everyon has what they need in this bustling tourist, yet pleasant restaurant. The food was really good and a great value. We had bon thit nuang (my favorite), pancake, fried spring rolls, stewed pork and a pork claypot. All were delicious and filling and our bill never exceeded about $14 US, with beer. By our final meal, several of the staff stopped by to say they remembered us and Ngoc asked to take a picture with us. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back! ( we were actually there in November 2017 and I just realized I never finished this post)More

We did a cooking class with Châu, the enthusiastic teacher, she was excellent! We are vegetarian and our diet was catered for really well. There was a trip to the market to source all the ingredients, Chau explained anything and everything we weren’t sure about....After we got back to the restaurant, she demonstrated as we cooked along with her. She was so informative and helpful as we went along. We made a starter of spring rolls, a tofu clay pot curry and fruit flambé. Highly recommend this class, excellent way of learning how to cook Vietnamese food the right way. Also really good value for money! We were given a present of a short cookbook, spoon and grater/peeler tool, which, whenever we use them will remind us of our trip 😃 Highly recommended!More

Visited Lanterns on the recommendation of a tourist guide and were not disappointed. The food was some of the tastiest we have had during our eight weeks stay and the desserts were delicious. It was a unique experience to have attentive staff who were responsive...to our requests friendly and helpful and who were not glued to their phones. A very pleasant dining experience.More

Expensive! Totally over rated, the food served are by apprentice cooks level. Taste awful and overall it's a tourist trap. Another thing are the waitress are rude, they don't like Asian.

Our supper for St-Valentine was a very good choice. It’s very clean , nice ambiance, super staff ! But the Cooking Classes was terrific almost 5 hours, we visit the Summer market first and we receive a lot of informations for the conservation of the...meat, the fish’s. The cook she bye also more fruits so we can try them. I am French Canadian I speak English and her English speaking was very easy to understand her. Rice paper roll, marinaded for the meat, I will use it at home too in slow cooker, choice of chicken , porc or fruits of sea for main dish and the fruits flambée! Also the day after we visit an orphanage with a volunteer guide of the restaurent her name is Mai The staff is very proud of the restaurent!More

Had a brilliant meal of prawns and spring rolls. Excellent service, good food well presented. Would advise booking if you intend eating between 6pm and 8:30pm, no a table to spare. A definite must in Nha Trang food circuit.

Lanterns Restaurant is a casual Vietnamese restaurant in Nha Trang. Reservation can easily be done online. The owner and waitresses are all very nice and helpful. The spacious restaurant doesn’t have A/C, but uses big fans, so be prepared to be sweaty – just imagine...beer being served with ice as normal practice! There is free Wi-Fi access, which is definitely a plus for tourists. Food is not bad, guess it just lacks the wow factor. Highly recommend the crispy Homemade Spring Rolls (Cha Gio) with Meat (VND 75,000 or USD 3.22 for 4pc) and the refreshing Fresh Rice Paper Rolls “Goi Cuon” (VND 70,000 or USD 3.01 for 4pc).More
