I visited here a number of times while staying in HCMC. It is a really well kept bar with really nice staff. The bar downstairs is very nice and the service is really good. They provided peanuts for us while sitting at the bar which was a really nice touch. The lounge service was also very good as we used... More

We went here for an after dinner drink and found it to be a warm, inviting and relaxed bar, there is a pool table upstairs and seating downstairs. The owner manager was there and he was very friendly. The crowd was Western mixed (Irish, US, UK, Oz) and it was busy with food service, overall it felt like an Irish... More

I usually avoid Irish bars because they are usually a total rip-off. O Brien's is not. A nice Irish style bar with nice staff and a friendly owner. Paid two visits during my stay. The first was early evening and it was uncrowded. The second was on St. Patrick's night and the scene was mad. Irish, plastic Irish,want-to-be Irish and... More

For those coming from Ireland, you will know what a shebeen is...a quiet, pleasant spot for a drink, some chat and to listen to some music. Well that what O'Brien's Factory is and well worth the visit.

The staff are wonderful and the owner is often on site, which is nice. The clientele seemed to be mostly western ex-pats. Good, clean, safe place to stop for a drink. The name is what drew us in as we were curious about an Irish pub in Vietnam. We stopped in a few times for a night cap on the... More

Great little place. Pretty quiet in the afternoon but at night when the band comes on usually packed.

This is a nice bar and a change of pace for much else in the area in district one. Nothing spectacular by Western European standards, but quite good for Vietnam.

We found this place due to its proximity to Temple Leaf spa. It's a couple of doors down and handy if it's raining after your massage! It was fairly quiet at the weekend at about 6 or 7 pm The staff were very efficient and the wine was good. If I lived here, this would be a place I would... More

This is a really nice warm and welcoming 'Irish' pub. The staff are all amazingly friendly and helpful and the place is nicely decorated. It does remind me of an American Irish bar (if that make sense?). lol ... We initially sat at the bar and then went upstairs to play a game of pool and ordered some food. The... More

After 3 days in bed with flu I knew I needed to get a good hearty dinner into me as if been in Vietnam a week and not one healthy meal since. Service was excellent ( had a waiter stand and watch me most of the time which is a little off putting but at least he was looking after... More
