Really neat, yet smokey sports bar in the center of Saigon just off 'Times Square'. Felt like I was back home catching up on the NFL championship finals. Great service and friendly staff.

Phattys is the go to place for any type of sporting event taking place around the globe. This sport a bar/Restaurant have a very good food menu To go with it as well. You can also meet a mix of different nationalities who are all...sports lovers. I personally love going for brunch at phattys. Staff are very friendly and attentive. They don’t have even 1 porter or stout not even a bottle or can. But sports and soccer they have plenty. They were nice enough to put on NBA basketball for me to enjoy. They do carry the Super Bowl which is awesome. The manager...and the waitresses are very nice. A lot of the music playing is from the 80s . When people mention the Place is for the Westerners it’s definitely not for people from United States but they are generous enough to put on the TV sporting events for us to enjoy. If they can get a Stout or Porter here it would be a five-star establishment if that’s not your thing you will enjoy this place at the highest level for sports and beer. This is a sports bar catering mostly to westerners. The staff are all very friendly. Phatty’s serves bar type food which is good. There is also a full and complete drink menu As the restaurant became more crowded many of the patrons started smoking which...was uncomfortable.More

In my two weeks in Saigon I'd planned to go to a lot of sports bars and bars.... Until I came across Phatty's. When I found this place, all I wanted to do was go back there! This place was like heaven for me... Not...only did they have an amazing selection of beers of all types, the staff were amazing, and of course they had every sport I watch, which is pretty much all sports. Having run a couple of pubs and bars in Australia myself, I quickly began to notice the Manager at this bar really knew what he was doing. All the staff were exceptionally attentive and ran like a 'well oiled machine'. And the music being played throughout every night there was unbelievable! It was like whoever was playing the music there was reading my mind... When the pub was full, the music was pumping. When it was time to finish up and close up the bar, the music became ambient and nostalgic - stuff like Depeche Mode and Midnight Oil.... I even brought along a Spanish girl to the bar that wasn't into sports that much, but she loved the place just for the atmosphere. If anyone is in Saigon, make sure you go to Phatty's!More

Not far off Nguyen Hue walking street, Phatty’s has been around for a while and a great place for viewing sports. Beers are cold and the price is reasonable. Nice staff and a good atmosphere.
